Informal Grievance Stage. (a) The University and the Union mutually agree that it is the desire of the Parties hereto that grievances of employees shall be adjudicated/dealt with as quickly as reasonably possible. If an employee has a grievance, they shall first discuss the matter, at a meeting arranged for this purpose, with their Chair/Director, with or without a Union Designate, within fifteen (15) days after the employee would reasonably be expected to have become aware of the circumstances giving rise to the grievance.

The Chair/Director or Member may request that a representative of FASR or CUPE 3913 participate in the informal grievance process. If a FASR or CUPE representative participates, a representative from the other will be invited to participate.
