A. The UTD President or Designee shall have the right to confer with the Superintendent or his/her designees on all matters not covered in the contract, limited only by mutual agreement of the time and place for such meetings.
Meet and Confer Procedures. A. Any Party may initiate the Meet and Confer procedures by sending Notice: (i) describing the event that requires the Parties to confer, and (ii) scheduling a meeting or conference call.
B. The Parties will meet to discuss the problem and identify alternative solutions. The Parties agree to dedicate a reasonable amount of time sufficient to resolve the problem.
C. The Meet and Confer procedures will result in: (i) amendment pursuant to Section 8.4; (ii) termination or other resolution pursuant to the procedures of Section 8.11; or (iii) such other resolution as is appropriate under the applicable section.
Meet and Confer Procedures. The School District and the Federation shall jointly establish an Educational Policies Committee for the purpose of discussing educational policies and practices not specifically regulated in this Agreement.
1. The Educational Policies Committee shall consist of up to five members appointed by the School District and up to five members appointed by the Federation.
Subd. 2. The Educational Policies Committee shall meet at the request of either party at a mutually agreeable time to consider any matter subject to the meet and confer process under the P.E.L.R.A of 1971, as amended. Subd. 3. The Educational Policies Committee shall meet no less than three times per year.

Opportunity will be provided for the UTD President or Designee and the Chief Officer for Labor Relations or his/her designee(s) to meet to plan effective procedures for implementation of this Contract, the arrangements for such meetings to be initiated by either party, limited only by mutual agreement of the time and place for such meetings.
C. Chief Officers, associate superintendents, assistant superintendents, and other administrators shall meet with the UTD President or Designee, limited only by mutual agreement as to time and place of such meetings. Such meetings may deal with specific educational program issues and other matters of mutual interest not contained in the contract. It is the intent of the parties to maintain open communications on issues which impact implementation of the educational program and to identify and resolve problems which fall within the scope of this Contract.
Meet and Confer Procedures. 1. Representatives of the Association and representatives of the Administrative Meet and Confer Team will meet and confer regarding additions, deletions, and/or revisions to the Teacher Employment Agreement.
2. The ground rules for these meetings will be mutually agreed to by the representatives of both the Association and the Board.

The School Board and the Association mutually recognize that the PELRA provides for the establishment of procedures whereby the parties may meet and confer on educational policies of the district and on matters relating to the terms and conditions of employment in addition to the terms and conditions specifically set forth in this Agreement.

Meet and Confer Items The Board and the Association mutually recognize that the PELRA provides for the establishment of procedures whereby the parties may meet and confer on educational policies of the Cooperative and on matters relating to the terms and conditions of employment in addition to the terms and conditions specifically set forth in this Agreement.
Section 2. Meet and Confer Committee In order to comply with the spirit and intent of the PELRA, the parties hereby establish a Meet and Confer Committee to which all matters subject to the meet and confer process shall be referred; provided, however, that matters appropriate for consideration by the Staff Advisory Council should be deferred to the Council. The Meet and Confer Committee shall be composed of four (4) members appointed by the Board at least one of whom shall be a Board member, and four (4) members appointed by the Association. The Meet and Confer Committee shall meet at the request of either party, but no less often than once every four months. Any grievances with respect to such policies shall be policy grievances and shall not be subject to arbitration. The teacher handbook for each building shall be reviewed with the Association building representative prior to its presentation to the staff during workshop.
Meet and Confer Procedures. Section 11.1 Meet and Confer Items. Under the PELRA, the Employer is required to meet and negotiate only “terms and conditions of employment.” The Employer is not required to meet and negotiate on matters of inherent managerial policy, which include, but are not limited to, such areas of discretion or policy as the functions and programs of the Employer, its overall budget, utilization of technology, the organizational structure and selection and direction and number of personnel. The parties mutually recognize, however, that the PELRA provides for the establishment of procedures whereby the parties may meet and confer on educational policies of the District and on matters relating to the employment of Principals in addition to the specific terms and conditions of employment set forth in this Contract.
