Knowledge building. During the project, consortium members will build knowledge that can be applied to the development of future services, research grant applications, teaching programmes etc. Key questions that will be answered include:  How can ubiquitous ICT systems, that allow long term monitoring, be used in preventive healthcare systems?  How can multisource data be combined in decision-making processes?  What are the key elements of health and behavioural data that are needed in preventive healthcare systems?  How can healthcare services, self-management tools, data trackers etc be combined in an intelligent healthcare system?  How can motivational techniques, such as motivational interviewing and gamification, be used to support behavioural change?  What are the key elements that encourage users to engage with the system in the mid- to long-term, and reinforce commitment to behaviour change?  How can an individual’s behaviour be facilitated towards healthier lifestyles?

Knowledge building. Knowledge Building" projects develop: • Knowledge about barriers to rural and northern development and information used to address these barriers • Knowledge about gaps that exist in accessing and using tools and information for rural and northern development • New tools and information, or increase the value or functionality of existing tools and information by adapting them to address the gaps and barriers to rural and northern development All projects must transfer knowledge to communities and regions to increase the awareness, availability and accessibility of information, expertise, tools and processes. Objectives or directions must be validated by communities in the region and/or regional stakeholders. A report documenting the consultation process and findings must be attached to the application form. Up to two thirds of total project costs*, to a maximum of $200,000 per project. *These activities and funding levels are only eligible for northern regions. Contact your regional Program Officer at 0-000-000-0000 for clarification. The Department of Education, Culture and Employment administers the NWT Arts Council funding program. The annual budget for financial contributions is $500,000. Applicants may be eligible for funding from the NWT Arts Council if: • They have been a resident of the NWT for at least 2 years immediately prior to the deadline • They are an emerging artist or an established artist • They are a registered NWT organization with a mandate to enhance the arts • Their application is for a specific creative project The deadline for applications is February 28 each year. Where facilities are leased by the Employer, the Employer shall make a reasonable attempt to assure that such facilities comply with the order(s) of the Michigan Departments of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and/or Health and Human Services.

  • Common Areas - Changes Lessor shall have the right, in Lessor's sole discretion, from time to time: (a) To make changes to the Common Areas, including, without limitation, changes in the location, size, shape and number of driveways, entrances, parking spaces, parking areas, loading and unloading areas, ingress, egress, direction of traffic, landscaped areas, walkways and utility raceways; (b) To close temporarily any of the Common Areas for maintenance purposes so long as reasonable access to the Premises remains available; (c) To designate other land outside the boundaries of the Industrial Center to be a part of the Common Areas; (d) To add additional buildings and improvements to the Common Areas; (e) To use the Common Areas while engaged in making additional improvements, repairs or alterations to the Industrial Center, or any portion thereof; and (f) To do and perform such other acts and make such other changes in, to or with respect to the Common Areas and Industrial Center as Lessor may, in the exercise of sound business judgment, deem to be appropriate.

  • Premises Building Project and Common Areas 1.1 Premises, Building, Project and Common Areas.

  • Project 3.01. The Recipient declares its commitment to the objectives of the Project. To this end, the Recipient shall carry out the Project in accordance with the provisions of Article IV of the General Conditions.

  • Building Use Agency facilities may be used for Union activities according to current building use policies, so long as the facility is available and proper scheduling has been arranged.

  • Construction of the Tenant Improvements (a) Tenant shall construct and install the Tenant Improvements in a good and workmanlike manner, in compliance with all Laws and in accordance with this Exhibit B. Tenant’s proposed architect/engineer, general contractor, and fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical subcontractors are subject to Landlord’s prior approval. Promptly following the selection and approval of the architect/engineer, Tenant shall forward to said architect/engineer (and copy Landlord on the transmittal) Landlord’s building standards heretofore delivered to Tenant, and Tenant shall cause said architect/engineer to comply with said building standards. Promptly following the selection and approval of the general contractor, Tenant shall forward to said general contractor (and copy Landlord on the transmittal) Landlord’s fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and electrical specifications and Landlord’s rules of conduct, all of which have been delivered to Tenant prior to the date of this Lease, and Tenant shall cause said general contractor to comply with said specifications and rules of conduct. At Landlord’s request, Tenant shall coordinate a meeting among Landlord (who will reasonably make its representative available for such meeting), Tenant and Tenant’s general contractor to discuss the Building systems and other matters related to the construction of the Tenant Improvements. (b) Promptly following the date hereof, Tenant shall prepare and submit to Landlord a set of permittable construction drawings (the “CDs”), based on the preliminary plans attached hereto as Exhibit B-2 and made a part hereof (the “Preliminary Plans”), covering all work to be performed by Tenant in constructing the Tenant Improvements. Tenant shall have no right to make any Tenant Improvements that would materially alter the exterior appearance of the Building or the Building systems without Landlord’s prior approval. Landlord shall have fifteen (15) days after receipt of the CDs in which to review the CDs and in which to give Tenant written notice of its approval of the CDs or its requested changes to the CDs in reasonably sufficient detail so as to allow Tenant to make the requested changes (provided that Landlord shall not be permitted to request a change that is inconsistent with the Preliminary Plans). If Landlord requests any changes to the CDs, Tenant shall make such changes and shall, within fifteen (15) days of its receipt of Landlord’s requested changes (if any), submit the revised portion of the CDs to Landlord. Landlord shall have five (5) business days after receipt of the revised CDs in which to review said revised CDs and in which to give to Tenant written notice of its approval of the revised CDs or its requested changes thereto. This process shall continue until such time, if at all, that Landlord approves the CDs in accordance with this Section 2. Tenant shall at all times in its preparation of the CDs, and of any revisions thereto, act reasonably and in good faith. Landlord shall at all times in its review of the CDs, and any revisions thereto, act reasonably and in good faith.

  • Construction Commencement The Connecting Transmission Owner shall commence construction of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades for which it is responsible as soon as practicable after the following additional conditions are satisfied: 5.6.1 Approval of the appropriate Governmental Authority has been obtained for any facilities requiring regulatory approval; 5.6.2 Necessary real property rights and rights-of-way have been obtained, to the extent required for the construction of a discrete aspect of the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades; 5.6.3 The Connecting Transmission Owner has received written authorization to proceed with construction from the Developer by the date specified in Appendix B hereto; and 5.6.4 The Developer has provided security to the Connecting Transmission Owner in accordance with Article 11.5 by the dates specified in Appendix B hereto.

  • Construction of the Improvements Once development of the Property has commenced, the construction of the Improvements shall be pursued with due diligence and continuity, in a good and workmanlike manner, and in accordance with sound building and engineering practices, all applicable governmental requirements, and the Development Plan. Borrower shall not permit cessation of work for a period in excess of thirty (30) days during any period of time during which development on the Property is scheduled to be performed without the prior written consent of Lender, which may be given or withheld in Lender’s sole discretion, except for delays due to strikes, riots, acts of God, war, unavailability of labor or materials, governmental laws, regulations or restrictions and Borrower shall promptly notify Lender of any such delays; provided, however, that in no event shall work cease for a period in excess of sixty (60) days regardless of the cause. Borrower shall cause all materials supplied for, or intended to be utilized in, the development of any part of the Property, but not affixed to or incorporated into the Property, to be stored on the Property or at such other location as may be approved by Lender in writing, with adequate safeguards, as required by Lender, to prevent loss, theft, damage, or commingling with other materials or projects.

  • Buildings and Structures 1. Repair or retrofit of buildings less than 45 years old. 2. Removal of water by physical or mechanical means. 3. Installation of exterior security features and early warning devices on existing light poles or other permanent utilities.
