LEGAL DEFENCE. 4.3.1 Legal expenses costs to defend the person insured’s legal rights:
a) prior to the issue of legal proceedings when dealing with the: i) police;
LEGAL DEFENCE. 21.01 The Authority agrees to pay to the Guild in April of each year, on behalf of each licensed marine pilot covered by this Agreement, the sum of TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY DOLLARS ($220.00) for the duration of this contract to cover the cost of legal defence for the said pilot as provided by the Guild’s Legal Defence Fund.
21.02 Any pilot required to appear before the Authority under the By-Laws or Regulations shall have the right to be accompanied by a person of his choice.
21.03 If a pilot is required to appear at any hearing as a witness or defendant at which legal counsel representing the Authority is also present, he shall have the right to be accompanied by his legal or other counsel.
LEGAL DEFENCE.
4.01 Legal Defence coverage for Employees covered by this Agreement shall be provided by the Guild, and paid for by the Company, monthly, for each Employee in its employ at the following rate(s): September 25, 2022 to September 24, 2026 thirty-one dollars ($31.00)
LEGAL DEFENCE. We will pay the Costs and Expenses for defending an Insured Person’s rights relating to any
a. Prosecution in a court of criminal jurisdiction brought or commenced against the Insured Person arising out of health and safety at work, occupational hygiene, food safety hygiene, food legality and the supply of safe goods.
b. Civil action being taken against an Insured Person for wrongful arrest in connection with an accusation of theft.
c. Civil action being taken against an Insured Person, but not You
i. under legislation for unlawful dismissal on the grounds of race, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or religious belief arising from that person’s work as an Employee;
ii. as a trustee of a pension fund set up for the benefit of Your Employees.
d. Civil action for compensation under the Data Protection Act 2018.
e. Appealing against the refusal of the Information Commissioner to register Your application for registration.
f. An Insured Person being served with an enforcement, de-registration or transfer prohibition notice or information notice or special information notice.
a. Any costs arising unless You have registered with the Data Protection Register or Data Protection Commissioner.
b. Any claim relating to a Road Traffic Offence.
LEGAL DEFENCE. The Six Nations People's Cannabis Coalition may assist in the defence of any permit holder who has been granted a permit under this law and is operating in compliance with this law, if they have been charged by either the Provincial or Federal governments.

5.01 1. The Employer will contribute monthly to the Pension Plan a total of eight and one-half per cent (8.5%) of each Employee's monthly basic rate of pay actually paid to the Employee each month. The plan will be portable within Guild membership. The Employer contribution shall be allocated as seven and one half per cent (7.5%) to the Pension Plan account of the individual Employee and a further contribution of one per cent (1%) to the money purchase provision of the Pension Plan on an unallocated basis. This supplementary account will be used for the sole purpose of providing to the extent of funds available, Employer- Employee Pension Plan contributions of seven and one-half per cent (7.5%) and seven and one- half per cent (7.5%) respectively, for those Employees on Long Term Disability under the Guild Health Benefit Plan or after fifty-two (52) weeks on WCB Benefits. Employees for whom the seven and one-half per cent (7.5%) contribution is made will contribute concurrently by payroll deduction seven and one half per cent (7.5%) on their own behalf.
LEGAL DEFENCE. It shall be your duty and not our duty to defend any legal proceedings brought against you. We shall have the right and shall be given the opportunity to effectively associate with you in the investigation and defence of any legal proceeding. You shall not admit any liability or responsibility or agree to make any payment, without our prior written consent.
LEGAL DEFENCE. Legal Defence Insurance for Officers covered by this Agreement shall be provided in the following manner: The Guild shall provide Insurance which shall be paid for by the Company at the rate of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per month for each Officer in its employ.
LEGAL DEFENCE. The Insurer may, at its option and at its cost, represent the Insured, or any other person or party who may be entitled to indemnity under this Policy, at any inquest or other official inquiry and may undertake the defence in any court of competent jurisdiction in respect of any alleged offence if, in connection with such alleged offence, any event has occurred which may be the subject of indemnity under this Policy.
LEGAL DEFENCE. FUND
1. Legal defence fund for Officers covered by this Agreement shall be provided by the Guild and paid for by the Company monthly for each Officer in it’s employ at the following rate(s): October 1, 2006: twenty- six dollars and fifty cents ($26.50) October 1, 2007: twenty-eight dollars ($28.00) October 1, 2008: twenty-nine dollars and fifty cents ($29.50) October 1, 2009: thirty-one dollars ($31.00) If the Agreement continues after the above dates, an additional one dollar fifty cents ($1.50) will be added each October 1st of succeeding years.
2. The Company and Officers shall be advised as to the terms, conditions and extent of coverage so placed.
