Level Three – School Board a. If the grieving employee is not satisfied with the disposition of his grievance at Level Two, or if no decision has been rendered within ten (10) days after the grievance was delivered to the Superintendent, he shall within five (5) days after a decision by the Superintendent or fifteen (15) days after the grievance was delivered to the Superintendent request in writing a hearing by the Board at the next regular meeting. Providing a minimum of ten (10) days elapses before the next regular meeting, a hearing will be held by the Board of a committee of the Board at that meeting.
Level Three – School Board. If the superintendent's decision does not resolve the grievance to the satisfaction of the grievant, the decision may be appealed to the school board within ten (10) days after the verified receipt of the answer in Level 2. The grievant shall have the right to appear before the board to present evidence and argument for the board's consideration. The decision of the board shall be made and transmitted in writing to the grievant no later than twenty (20) days from the time of submission of the grievance to the board.
Level Three – School Board a. If a grievance involves a permissive subject of bargaining not covered by the collective bargaining agreement, the aggrieved person, if not satisfied with the Superintendent's disposition of the grievance at Level Two, may appeal the grievance to the Board of Directors of the District. Such appeal shall be made in writing within five (5) days after a decision by the Superintendent, or if no decision has been rendered by the Superintendent within ten (10) days, after the Superintendent's hearing.
Level Three – School Board. If the grievance is not resolved to the employee's satisfaction at Level Two, he/she no later than five (5) school days after receipt of the Superintendent's decision, may request a review by the Board. The request shall be submitted in writing directed to the Superintendent of Schools and shall include a statement by the grievant whether he/she requests a hearing on the grievance. The Superintendent of Schools shall attach all related papers and forward the request to the Board. The Board, or a Committee thereof, shall review the grievance and shall, at the option of the Board, or upon request of the grievant, hold a hearing with the employee and render a decision in writing directed to the grievant and the Association within twenty (20) calendar days of receipt of the grievance by the Board, or of the hearing with the employee, whichever comes later.
Level Three – School Board a. If the teacher is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at level two, the teacher may, within ten (10) days after the Superintendent's decision, file the grievance with the School Board.
Level Three – School Board a) If the aggrieved person and/or the Association is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level Two, he/she may within seven (7) days after the decision, or within ten (10) days after the hearing, if no decision is forthcoming, file the grievance with the School Board.
Level Three – School Board a) Within ten (10) days of the receipt of the appeal, the School Board will notify all parties in interest and their representatives of a hearing to be held within thirty
Level Three – School Board. If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his or her grievance at Level Two or if no written decision has been rendered within (5) days after he or she has first met with the superintendent, he or she may, within (5) days after a decision by the superintendent or within (10) days after he or she has first met with the superintendent whichever is sooner, request in writing to the superintendent for the grievance to move to Level Three. At the next regular meeting, the board (or its designated agent) shall consider the grievance or may designate a committee which may or may not include the board members to hold a hearing or otherwise investigate the grievance or prescribe such procedures it may deem appropriate for consideration of the grievance. The board shall make a final decision thereon at the following regular or special board meeting.
Level Three – School Board. If the disposition of a contract or policy grievance at Level Two is not satisfactory to the Association, the Association may file, within five (5) days from the receipt of the written disposition of the grievance at Level Two or within ten (10) days from the date of the Level Two hearing with the Superintendent, a written request for a conference with the School Board regarding the grievance. At its next meeting, the School Board shall set a time for a conference with the teacher and the School Board, or with a committee or representative of the School Board, which conference shall take place no later than the next succeeding regularly scheduled meeting of the School Board. The School Board shall indicate its disposition of the grievance at the next School Board meeting. Disposition of the grievance shall be indicated in writing within five (5) days of the School Board decision.
Level Three – School Board. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision of the Superintendent, the grievant may file the grievance in writing with the Board,
