Long Service Leave on Half Pay. 7.7.1 All employees shall be entitled to apply for long service leave on half pay upon completion of 10 years continuous service. This provision provides for the employee to extend the period of leave to twice the period that may be taken with full pay. The wages shall be apportioned over the period of leave at the rate of half pay.

Long Service Leave on Half Pay. 54.6 Subject to the Employer’s convenience, the Employer may approve an Employee’s application to take an accrued entitlement to long service leave on half pay.
Long Service Leave on Half Pay. An employee may request, and the Employer may agree, for the leave to be taken on half pay to enable employees to be absent on Long Service Leave for double the period of leave that would otherwise be applicable. Where an employee accesses Long Service Leave at half pay, that employee will accrue all leave entitlements on a pro rata basis. The following applies to Teachers accessing Long Service Leave at half pay in relation to school holidays:
Long Service Leave on Half Pay. A teacher may elect to receive long service leave payments at half pay for the period of leave. The parties understand that ‘half pay’ means that over the course of a fortnight; a teacher will receive one week of paid long service leave, followed by one week of leave without pay (LWOP). The period of LWOP will not be deemed as service for the purposes of this enterprise agreement, the Award (as amended or replaced) or any statutory entitlement.
