LUNCH & REST BREAKS. A. All employees are allowed one-half hour unpaid lunch period and two paid rest breaks, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes each, both of which are to be scheduled by the supervisor.

LUNCH & REST BREAKS. Employees shall receive a paid lunch break of thirty (30) minutes after three (3) hours of work and before the end of six (6) hours of work. If any portion of a designated lunch break is missed, during the first twenty (20) minutes, the entire thirty (30) minute lunch break shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) the regular rate of pay for a missed lunch plus time worked. If any portion of a lunch break is missed after twenty (20) minutes have elapsed, only the minutes remaining in the lunch break shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) the regular rate of pay, in addition to hours worked. Employees when operating on mainline shall be entitled to receive a designated ten (10) minute break or lunch after operating for ninety (90) minutes. If a break is not received in its entirety before one hundred and fifty (150) minutes the employee shall be paid ten (10) minutes at one and one-half (1½) the regular rate of pay for a missed break plus time worked. Alternatively, if adequate restroom facilities are available on or adjacent to the platform, at the end of the line, the parties shall meet and confer in order to reach agreement on an alternative break schedule involving, for those on an eight (8) hour shift, one designated fifteen (15) minute break approximately midway between the first half of the day’s shift and another fifteen (15) minute break approximately midway between the second half of the day’s shift, and for those on a 10 hour shift, a third designated fifteen (15) minute break. Employees who are not operating shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break approximately two (2) hours after the start of their shift and thereafter, approximately two (2) hours after the last scheduled meal or rest break. If any portion of a break is missed (i.e., not received in its entirety), the employee shall be paid (10 or 15 minutes, as applicable) at one and one- half (1½) the regular rate of pay for a missed break plus time worked. Employees will be provided reasonable grace periods to travel to and from the break facility prior to beginning and after ending rest/lunch breaks. The District shall provide and maintain rest/lunch break facilities at each break location and such facilities will be equipped with a refrigerator, sink, microwave oven, storage cabinet, table, chairs, computer, internet access, printer, bulletin board, drinking water, and adequate restroom facilities. LUNCH & REST BREAKS. At eBART’s discretion, a thirty (30) minute paid meal period, from one (1) hour before to one (1) hour after the midpoint of the shift shall be granted to all employees providing such employees remain at work. It is understood that in some situations it may be impracticable due to the short duration of non- revenue service to grant the meal period one (1) hour before to one (1) hour after the midpoint of the shift. At eBART’s discretion, the meal period will be provided at a convenient time for the work to be accomplished. A fifteen (15) minute paid break period shall be provided midway in the first and last half of the shift, or breaks may be taken on an irregular basis as determined by the District.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Rest Break 6.4.10(a) An employee working overtime must be allowed a rest break of 20 minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee is to continue work after the rest break.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

  • Lunch and Rest Breaks (a) Normally, a non-paid lunch break of either one half (½) hour or one (1) hours duration will be taken halfway through each shift. However, if job conditions require, the lunch break may be moved up to one (1) hour in either direction.

  • Laundry Service If the Government provides a laundry service at the incident base camp, the Contractor may utilize the service at no cost.

  • CLEC OUTAGE For a problem limited to one CLEC (or a building with multiple CLECs), BellSouth has several options available for restoring service quickly. For those CLECs that have agreements with other CLECs, BellSouth can immediately start directing traffic to a provisional CLEC for completion. This alternative is dependent upon BellSouth having concurrence from the affected CLECs. Whether or not the affected CLECs have requested a traffic transfer to another CLEC will not impact BellSouth's resolve to re-establish traffic to the original destination as quickly as possible.

  • MEAL PERIODS AND REST BREAKS 4.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 4.2 no employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being allowed a meal break of not less than half an hour.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Scheduled Downtime For the purposes of this Agreement, Scheduled Downtime will mean those hours, as determined by us but which will not occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday without your authorization or unless exigent circumstances exist, during which time we will perform scheduled maintenance or adjustments to the Environment. We will use our best efforts to provide you with at least twenty-four (24) hours of notice prior to scheduling Scheduled Downtime.
