Paid Meal Period Sample Clauses

Paid Meal Period. The Employer and Union agree to paid meal periods that vary from and supersede the paid meal period required by WAC 000-000-000. Employees working straight shifts will not receive a paid meal period, but will be permitted to eat intermittently during paid time as time allows during their shift while remaining on duty.
Paid Meal Period. There will continue to be an eight (8) hour work day inclusive of a paid thirty (30) minute meal period. The thirty (30) minute meal period is inclusive of any wash-up time and will be taken at the job site or another Regional site designated by management after consultation with the employees. The parties agree that such site shall have access to washroom facilities.
Paid Meal PeriodEmployees shall be provided with a thirty (30) minute paid meal period for each shift in excess of five (5) hours. Paid rest periods may be combined with the paid meal period.
Paid Meal Period. When two or three eight (8) hour shifts are in operation and a 20 minute paid meal period is in effect for any one particular shift, the meal period is considered duty time. To insure adequate coverage of their respective sections, Employees will spend this paid meal period in close proximity to their work area. With supervisory permission, Employees may absent themselves from the work area for brief periods of time.
Paid Meal PeriodThe Company may establish daily assignments of six (6) consecutive hours or more without a meal period provided, however, that in such case, a twenty (20) minute eating period is granted without deduction from pay.
Paid Meal Period a. Implemented where single staffing occurs by May 1, 2024, understanding that currently employees are eligible for paid meal periods if they are not able to leave the worksite.

  • Meal Period A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as close as possible to the middle of the scheduled hours of work. The length of the meal period shall be agreed to at the local level and shall be not less than 30 minutes nor more than 60 minutes. (b) An employee shall be entitled to take their meal period away from the workstation. Where this cannot be done, the meal period shall be considered as time worked.

  • No-­‐Activation Period Registry Operator shall not activate any names in the DNS zone for the Registry TLD (except for "NIC") until at least 120 calendar days after the effective date of this agreement. Registry Operator may allocate names (subject to subsection 6.2 below) during this period only if Registry Operator causes registrants to be clearly informed of the inability to activate names until the No-­‐Activation Period ends.

  • Initial Period The Initial Period will begin on the date set forth above and will terminate on the earlier of (i) the Commercial Operation Date, or (ii) the Date the Agreement is terminated pursuant to the provisions of Clause 19.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • Break Period All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

  • Xxxxx Period After payment of the first Dues, the Subscriber is entitled to a grace period of 30 days for the payment of any Dues due. During this grace period, the Agreement will remain in force. However, the Subscriber will be liable for payment of Dues accruing during the period the Agreement continues in force.
