Uniform Maintenance. The City agrees to contract out for cleaning of uniforms for those employees required to wear uniforms. Employees will be allowed to drop off and pick up uniforms while on duty.

Uniform Maintenance. ‌ (a) All damage to clothing and equipment incurred in the course of duty shall be assumed and made good by the Employer where an employee can produce satisfactory evidence as to the manner of damage. (b) All employees shall be responsible for the normal upkeep and cleanliness of their uniforms, but in the event that the uniform becomes abnormally soiled during the normal course of duty, the employee shall be reimbursed for cleaning expenses by the Employer upon presentation of receipts. The Employer shall also be responsible for the cost of cleaning uniforms in the amount of eighteen dollars ($18) per month and is to be paid monthly. Such cleaning allowances shall be paid during periods of uninterrupted service only.
Uniform Maintenance. The University will provide employees who are furnished and required by the University to wear a uniform, a maintenance allowance of $350.00 annually, unless laundry and dry cleaning facilities are available and the service is furnished without cost to the employees. In addition, such employees shall receive a shoe allowance in the amount of $150.00 annually, unless the University furnishes shoes. These amounts are subject to withholding.
Uniform Maintenance. A. Each employee covered by this Agreement shall receive a clothing maintenance allowance of four hundred fifty ($450.00) dollars on the first claims list issued in the month of October. In order for employees to receive a separate check under the claims list, employees must submit their clothing maintenance receipts from the July 1 through the June 30 period (fiscal year) to the Chief of Police no later than the 30th of August of each year. The receipts must specifically state/list that the expense was incurred for maintenance of uniforms. If the receipts do not add up to the total allowances, the difference would be taxable income. B. Each employee shall have replaced any damaged clothing and/or personal property suffered in the performance of duty. Such claim for loss must be supported with reasonable proof of loss of the clothing and/or property, and such damaged items are made the property of the City. The City shall be subrogated to any reimbursement available to the employee as a result of such loss.
Uniform Maintenance. All officers and all firefighters will be required to maintain this issue and have items replaced when worn or damaged. All employees are required to maintain issued articles in serviceable condition. Articles that are damaged or worn will be replaced or repaired by the City, provided the damage is not the result of the member’s intentional abuse or negligence. When any item reaches the end of its useful life, or is damaged, it will be replaced by the City when turned in to the fire chief or his designee, who shall have the sole discretion in determining if replacement is necessary.
Uniform Maintenance. A dry cleaning and laundering allowance shall be paid by the County, in the sum of Four Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($425.00) annually for each supervisor issued a uniform. Said sum shall be payable on the first payday after the end of each calendar quarter during the term of this Contract. Said payment shall be in a separate check and not subject to tax withholding provided an affidavit is provided to the Employer from the employee. In the event that the County contracts to provide cleaning and laundering services for employees, this section and the payments in it shall be eliminated. The dry cleaning and laundering allowance will be determined on the basis of $35.42 per month for uniform supervisors.

The replacement of unserviceable or lost items will be made upon surrender of items, or proof of loss, if replacement is necessary as a result of normal wear. Requests for replacement shall be made through an individual authorized by the Employer (who will normally be a unit chief). (b) All employees shall be responsible for the normal upkeep and cleanliness of their uniforms, but in the event that the uniform becomes abnormally soiled during the normal course of duty, the employee shall be reimbursed for cleaning expenses by the Employer upon presentation of receipts. (c) Female Dispatchers may take as an option one skirt in lieu of one pair of trousers. (d) All items of uniform shall remain the property of the Employer. Uniform Maintenance. 29.01. The Employer shall furnish uniforms to the employees in accordance with the employer's usual practice. Employees whose performance of regularly assigned duties and/or responsibilities would be compromised by uniform attire shall be authorized, through a voucher or other financially reconcilable system established by the Employer, to purchase shirts, trousers, neckties, sport coats or blazers, jackets or outer coats, hats and shoes in an amount not to exceed $1200.00 their first year and $1000.00 per calendar year after. 29.02. The Employer shall continue to issue replacement clothing for items that have been damaged or destroyed during the course of employment. The employee must notify the Employer in writing when clothing needs to be repaired or replaced. The employee must bring in the uniform which is defected or worn out before an order for replacement shall be made. Once receipt of the defective or worn out uniform is logged, the new uniform shall be ordered promptly. Uniforms shall be ordered in an expeditious manner. 29.03. Identification cards, with photographs, will be provided to all employees of the bargaining units. 29.04. Employees must return all uniforms and other items issued by the Employer when they terminate their employment with the Erie County Sheriff's Office. No employee shall receive his / her final paycheck until such time as all equipment issued to the employee by the Employer has been returned. 29.05. The Employer shall provide “dry cleaningservices for uniforms to members of the bargaining unit. Not more than two (2) uniforms (i.e.: shirt jackets, pants and ties) per Employee shall be cleaned per calendar work- week The employer shall pay all costs associated with dry cleaning and shall determine the company or companies that will provide the service. Uniforms to be cleaned will be left at the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, in a place determined by the employer, and shall be returned to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, and left on a rack or other suitable place, as determined by the employer, so that employees may pick up cleaned items during their regularly scheduled work periods.
Uniform Maintenance. 69.1 In addition to their regular rates of pay, patrolmen shall receive the sum of One Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($1,400.00) per year as a uniform maintenance. The uniform maintenance shall be paid in two (2) equal installments on the first pay in June and the first regular pay in December. 69.2 If an employee retires during the first quarter of the year, he shall receive one-quarter of the uniform maintenance fee. Retirement within the second quarter receives one-half; and within the third quarter receives three-fourths. Retirement within the fourth quarter receives the full fee.
Uniform Maintenance. At each employee's option, 25% of the total clothing allowance may be used for uniform maintenance (dry cleaning, etc.). Receipts are to be submitted on a quarterly basis to the Employer for reimbursement to the employee.
