MaintenanceProgramme. (a) Not later than forty five (45) days before the beginning of each Accounting Year, the Concessionaire shall provide to the Independent Engineer, its proposed programme of preventive and other scheduled maintenance of the Project at all times in conformity with the Project Requisites(the "Maintenance Programme"). Such Maintenance Programme shall include but not be limited to the following: (i) intervals and procedures for the carrying out of inspection of all elements of the Project; (ii) criteria to be adopted for deciding maintenance needs; (iii) preventive maintenance schedule; (iv) intervals at which the Concessionaire shall carry out periodic maintenance; and (v) intervals for major maintenance and the scope thereof. (b) Maintenance shall include replacement of equipment and consumables, and also horticultural maintenance and repairs to equipment, pavements, buildings, structures and other civil works which are part of the Project/Project Facility. (c) The Concessionaire shall keep the Project Facility in a clean, tidy and orderly condition free of litter, waste material (whether solid or liquid) and debris. (d) The Concessionaire shall be responsible for the maintenance of the internal approach roads to the various buildings and/or structures of the Modern Slaughterhouse within the Project Site in accordance with Good Industry Practice.

  • Maintenance Manual No later than 60 (sixty) days prior to the Project Completion Date, the Contractor shall, in consultation with the Authority’s Engineer, evolve a maintenance manual (the “Maintenance Manual”) for the regular and preventive maintenance of the Project Highway in conformity with the Specifications and Standards, safety requirements and Good Industry Practice, and shall provide 5 (five) copies thereof to the Authority’s Engineer. The Authority’s Engineer shall review the Maintenance Manual within 15 (fifteen) days of its receipt and communicate its comments to the Contractor for necessary modifications, if any.

Costs incurred by Lessor in providing such custodian services shall be included within "operating costs".
