Maximum Overtime. 1. Except in an emergency, an employee may not be compelled or allowed to work more than sixteen (16) hours plus any worked meal periods in a twenty-four (24) hour period. After working more than sixteen (16) consecutive hours of work in a twenty-four (24) hour period (not including any meal periods worked at the employee’s choice), employees will be allowed a rest period of at least ten (10) hours off. If the ten (10) hours off overlap the employee’s regular shift, up to four (4) hours of such an overlap will be administrative leave.

Maximum Overtime. Overtime shall be done within the limitations prescribed in the Working Hours Act4. The calendar year shall serve as the tracking period used for maximum overtime. Another one-year tracking period may be used instead of the calendar year where locally agreed. The tracking period shall commence from the wage payment period for which wages are first paid soonest after the calendar year begins.
Maximum Overtime. The number of overtime hours may not exceed 20 hours on average per week, to be measured per quarter.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Banked Overtime In the event the day in lieu of working the statutory holiday is not provided as stipulated in 8.01.04, this portion may also be banked.

  • WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME Section 1. The normal work week will consist of forty (40) hours. Department management will establish the work week and hours of work best suited to meet the needs of the Department and provide superior service to the community.   • Regular Overtime Any overtime work scheduled in advance of the administrative workweek as part of an employee's regularly scheduled workweek is considered regular overtime. An employee shall be compensated for every minute of regular overtime work in accordance with 5 CFR 550.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.
