Meal Period and Rest Periods. All employees who work a shift of more than five (5) hours shall be entitled to an unpaid minimum of 30 minutes meal period or a maximum of a one - hour meal period. When a work period of not more than six (6) hours will complete the day's work, the meal period may be waived by mutual consent of the Employer and the employee. The meal period shall commence not less than three and one-half (3 1/2) or more than five and one half (5 1/2) hours after the employee's starting time, except where otherwise agreed by the Employer and the employee. Employees are to take rest periods, which insofar as practicable shall be in the middle of each four (4) hours work period. The rest period time shall be ten (10) minutes over (4) hours and shall be counted as hours worked which there shall be no deductions from wages. Employees are required to remain on the premises unless authorized by the manager to leave the property during their rest breaks.
Meal Period and Rest Periods. All scheduled shifts of eight hours or more for full-time and part-time employees shall have a designated lunch period of between 30 minutes and one hour. There shall be two 15 minute rest periods daily to be scheduled by the Company. One shall be during the second and third hours of the shift and one during the sixth and seventh hours thereof.

  • Meal and Rest Periods (a) An employee working a daily shift up to and including five (5) hours will have one (1) paid rest period not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes.

  • Paid Rest Periods All Employees shall be given a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in the first and second half of their daily shift in an area made available by the Employer. If mutually agreed to between the parties, the two (2) rest periods shall be combined.

  • Lunch and Rest Periods A. Each employee working more than four (4) hours per day shall be entitled to a minimum of one-half (1/2) hour duty free lunch period without pay.

  • Rest Period After Overtime (a) When overtime work is necessary, it will, wherever reasonably practicable, be so arranged that employees have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days or shifts, including overtime.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • Rest Period An employee who works overtime shall have at least a ten hour rest period between the end of ordinary hours on any one day and start of ordinary hours on the next day. If on the instructions of the employer, the employee resumes or continues work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, the employee shall be paid double time until he or she is released from duty for ten hour rest period. The employee shall then be entitled to be absent without loss of pay for ordinary working hours occurring during the ten hour rest period.
