Leave Provision. All Leave Requests shall be submitted in KIOSK. Appendix B and Appendix C are for reference only. 300 Sick Leave A. Each member will be granted sick leave of one and one-fourth (1 ¼) days per month for a total of fifteen (15) days per year. The maximum accumulation of sick leave days shall be unlimited. B. Each member may use sick leave for absence due to personal illness, pregnancy, adoption [up to twenty (20) days], injury, exposure to contagious disease which could be communicated to others, and for absence due to illness, injury, or death in the member's immediate family. C. Teachers who render part-time service pursuant to obligations while under regular contract with the Board shall be entitled to sick leave for the time actually worked at the same rate as that granted like full-time employees. D. Ten (10) days of sick leave shall be credited any member who has exhausted his/her sick leave and personal leave; provided, however, that such credited days shall be reimbursed from accumulated sick leave prior to the termination of employment. In the event such credited days are not recovered prior to termination of employment, the salary amounts paid for such credited days (days owed to the Board times employee’s daily rate) shall be deducted from the member's final check from the Board. Under no circumstances shall the days advanced exceed what would be accrued/earned through the end of the current school year. E. Regarding illness, injury, or death, the member's immediate family shall include: spouse, children, parents, stepparents, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, parents-in-law, and siblings. Any teacher required to be absent because of death in the immediate family shall be granted up to three (3) days of leave per death. The three (3) days shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave of the teacher’s sick leave balance. Any teacher required to be absent because of the death of non-immediate family members shall be granted up to two (2) days of sick leave per death, and such leave shall be deducted from the teacher’s accumulated sick leave balance. F. If medical attention has been necessary during the period of sick leave, the member's statement shall list the name and address of the attending physician and the dates when he/she was consulted. Sick leave shall not be charged for days on which school is not in session due to public calamity, disease, epidemic, hazardous weather conditions, damage to a school building or other temporary circumstanc...
Leave Provision. 4.1 The Company reserves the right where either party to this Agreement gives notice to terminate this Agreement or otherwise purports to terminate the Executive's employment, to exclude the Executive from all or any of the Company's places of business and to require him either to remain at home or to attend one of the Group Company's offices to carry out special projects which are reasonably commensurate with his position and within his skill and competence as directed by the Board during all or any part(s) of the Executive's contractual notice period. 4.2 Where the Company requires the Executive to stay at home under this clause 4, it is relieved from any obligation whatsoever to provide the Executive with work to do, or to allow the Executive access to any premises of the Company or any Group Company, or to have contact with or dealings with clients or suppliers of the Company or any Group Company, or to allow the Executive to carry out his normal duties and the Executive's normal duties under this Agreement will be suspended during such period although the Company may require the Executive to undertake other duties commensurate with his position as directed by the Board provided always that salary and all other contractual benefits shall not cease to be payable or provided by reason only of the Company exercising it's rights pursuant to sub clauses 4.1 and 4.2 of this Clause 4. This Clause shall not affect the general right of the Company to suspend in accordance with Clause 20.2 nor affect the rights and obligations of the parties prior to the service of such a notice. 4.3 There shall be no obligation on the Company to provide work for the Executive or to allow him access to any premises of the Company or any Group Company during any period in which the Company is carrying out a bona fide investigation regarding any acts or defaults of the Executive. The Executive shall continue to receive his full remuneration and other benefits hereunder during any such period of suspension.
Leave Provision. An employee who has commenced leave shall not be entitled to claim other leave for the period of leave commenced, except as provided in Clause 5.2.2.
Leave Provision. Each employee is required to use the electronic reporting system to apply for any type of leave in advance of the use of such leave, if use of such leave is reasonably foreseeable. Except in extenuating circumstances, employees will receive a response from immediate supervisors within three (3) days for all leave requests submitted in the electronic reporting system. If an employee is unable to apply for a leave before it is taken, the employees must complete a paper absence report within three (3) days of returning.
Leave Provision. Illness in the Family Leave, as delineated in Section 6, Personal Illness and Flexible Leave, may be used in case of illness, surgery, childbirth, or accident involving a member of the immediate family. If a teacher exhausts all personal business, compensatory, and flexible leave, he/she may use up to ten (10) days of accumulated sick leave per school year.
