Meetings and Gatherings. 3.8.1 Upon mutual agreement by members and administration, small in-person meetings that follow social distancing and PPE guidelines, may be held during the pandemic including, but not limited to 504s, IEPs, SSTs, professional development, committee meetings, district meetings, staff gatherings, and parent meetings. Staff may remote in to attend these meetings.
3.8.2 Large meetings (such as staff meetings) shall be held virtually and shall be scheduled during a bargaining unit member’s regular workday.
3.8.3 Large in-person gatherings (i.e. school assemblies) are prohibited following SCPHD guidelines.
Meetings and Gatherings. 9.1. If a meeting is scheduled to be conducted in-person, a bargaining unit member may request to their site administrator to attend the meeting remotely from their workspace, unless required for specialized support services.

12.1. For the duration of hybrid instruction, all meetings, including but not limited to staff meetings, PLCs, district meetings, committee meetings, training, and professional development shall have a virtual option for Unit Members. At no time during mandated hybrid instruction will in‐person attendance at group meetings be required.

Meetings with parents, including but not limited to 504s, IEPs, SSTs, parent meetings, and parent‐teacher conferences shall be conducted virtually for the duration of mandated hybrid instruction unless an in‐person meeting is requested by the parent. In such cases, a minimum of six (6) feet of physical distance between all meeting attendees for the duration of the meeting and for entering/leaving the meeting shall be followed.

11.03 The District will work in collaboration and make every effort to schedule Friday meetings at a time that works for the majority of the staff.
11.04 The District will attempt to ensure equity in meetings, preparation, and planning periods for teachers in both general education and special education -

3.3 Ongoing “Parent/Guardian Coach” virtual conferences can occur in lieu of Back-to-School Night and Parent Conferences on a site-by-site basis with mutual site administration and staff agreement.

4.4.2 Large, in-person gatherings (i.e., school assemblies, field trips, etc.) are prohibited until approved by health department officials, district leadership, and site administrator.
4.4.3 Back to School Night, Open Houses, PTA/PTC events, in-person Promotion/Graduation meetings or ceremonies, and other such events shall be cancelled for 2020-2021, unless approved by health department officials, district leadership, and site administrator.
