Mission Leave Sample Clauses

Mission Leave. Any nurse may request a personal leave of absence for the purpose of medical mission work. The nurse will provide documentation demonstrating that the work is in furtherance of Providence’s mission. Such leave will be granted only with the approval of the nurse’s manager. The nurse may use PTO during the time of the leave, or, with manager approval, take the leave unpaid.

  • Union Leave Leave of absence for Union business shall be given without pay up to a maximum of (as per the local provisions under L19) days per calendar year provided such leave does not interfere with the continuance of efficient operation of the Hospital. Such leave shall be subject to the following conditions:

  • Union Leaves Employees on Union Leaves will be treated as provided in Article 18 (Q) while working on Union leave.

  • Graduation Leave It is understood that in the case of secondary or post secondary graduation of self or spouse, son or daughter, one day leave with pay shall be granted. Two (2) days leave with pay shall be granted where travel arrangements necessitate such absence from school.

  • Local Union Leave Upon written request, leave of absence without pay shall be granted to employees for Union business in accordance with the following provisions:

  • Transition Leave At the Appointing Authority’s discretion an employee under notice of permanent layoff may be granted up to one hundred and sixty (160) hours of paid leave, ending at the date of layoff. Hours of leave may be granted at any time throughout the layoff notice period and shall not be subject to the Application and Reinstatement provision of this Article.

  • Casual Leave (a) Employees may be granted casual leave with pay to a maximum of two (2) hours for the following purposes:
