Modified Duties. 22.01 When it has been determined that an employee will be returning to work on a modified/light/alternate work program, the Employer will provide an opportunity for a representative of the Ontario Nurses' Association and a member of the local executive to discuss the circumstances surrounding the employee's return to work. An employee's return to work will not be delayed because of the unavailability of a Labour Relations Officer (LRO) or a member of the local executive.
Modified Duties. (a) The Union and Employer mutually agree to assist in the rehabilitation of ill or injured employees and to ensure their return to meaningful employment and the resumption of an active role in the workplace.
Modified Duties. Where able the Company will provide modified duties.
Modified Duties i) This clause provides a modified work program to assist in the rehabilitation of employees who have been absent from work due to illness or injury.
ii) Objectives of the program:
Modified Duties. 40.1 Payment for Modified duties will be established as follows:
(a) A period of 30 days immediately prior to the date of injury or illness will be identified. Any days off for miles, annual vacation, authorized leave of absence (including personal leave days) or bona fide illness will be excluded from the sampling period.
(b) The earnings during the above 30-day period will be identified and will be used in calculating a daily rate.
(c) To establish a daily rate, the earnings calculated in b) above, will be divided by 30 or prorated if reduced by a) above.
(d) The daily rate will be paid to employees based on a 7 days per week basis.
(e) Employees on modified duties will protect their work on a 5 days per week basis.
Modified Duties a) This Xxxxxx provides a modified work program to assist in the rehabilitation of employees who have been absent from work due to illness or injury.
Modified Duties. The Company agrees that when modified work is offered to an employee, it will be offered as close as possible to his shift as long as such work is available as determined by the Company.
Modified Duties. The company agrees to offer disabled employees modified work based on their medical limitations. The modified duties shall continue for the length of the accommodation.
Modified Duties. When it has been determined that an employee will be returning to work on a modified/light/alternate work programme, a meeting will be held with the employee who will have the right to request union representation. The unavailability of a union representative shall not prevent the return to work. A meeting shall be held as soon as possible thereafter.
