NJEA Convention. 1. The Board shall allow two (2) days for secretaries to attend N.J.E.A.
NJEA Convention. During NJEA Convention Days, one (1) of the days on which schools are closed will be granted.
NJEA Convention. Teachers attending the annual convention of the NJEA shall receive reimbursement of ten dollars ($10) for expense upon submission of receipts for expenditures of educational materials and a receipt of certificate of attendance furnished by the NJEA.
NJEA Convention. Certified staff members attending the New Jersey Education Association convention shall receive the following amounts: $20.00 for attendance, upon receipt of attendance voucher, up to $40.00 for instructional material, payment subject to approval by the school Superintendent.
NJEA Convention. Each secretarial employee, with the exception of classroom paraprofessionals, shall be given the time necessary to attend the N.J.E.A. convention without any loss in pay or other employee advantage consistent with 18A:31-2.
NJEA Convention. Any support staff member who notifies the Board of Education that they will be attending the annual convention of the New Jersey Education Association shall be granted the right to attend for a period of not more than two days in any one year and he/she shall receive his/her whole salary for the days of actual attendance upon the sessions of such convention with documentation from the secretary/treasurer of the NJEA. The least senior employee with a black seal license may be denied if there is not proper coverage to operate each school building.
NJEA Convention. Each teacher shall be reimbursed at the rate of twenty ($20.00) dollars per day for a two (2) day period upon receipt of N.J.E.A. convention certification of attendance.
NJEA Convention. Secretaries shall be entitled to two (2) NJEA Convention Days when they shall not be required to report to work. It is the express desire of the Board and the Association that the Secretaries will participate in the activities of the NJEA Convention.
NJEA Convention. Support staff who are covered under this agreement shall have the Thursday and Friday of the NJEA Convention as holidays.

NJEA Convention. 11:3.1 All secretaries shall be given off the two (2) NJEA Convention days at full pay. All other employees shall not be entitled to time off for the two (2) NJEA convention days. The Association and the Board recognize that the Board of Education shall have a right to assign employees to work on NJEA Convention days. The Board agrees to seek volunteers prior to making assignments. All secretaries who are required to work shall be granted a floating holiday for each day worked.
