Notice of Absence from Work. All employees who must absent themselves from work, when scheduled to report to work, must notify their immediate supervisor prior to the commencement of their normal shift, unless notification is not possible.

Notice of Absence from Work. When an employee cannot make it to work, he must notify the Company of his absence at least one hour before his scheduled reporting time. An employee will be excused from this notification requirement if (i) he provides documented verification that it was impossible for him to give at least one hour’s advance notice of his absence, or (ii) he provides credible information indicating that due to extreme weather conditions it was impossible for him to give at least one hour’s advance notice.
Notice of Absence from Work. 10.01 An employee who is absent due to illness or accident will give his immediate supervisor or designate (ie. Hotel Manager, or if not available, Front Desk), at least two (2) hours notice if possible prior to the commencement of his shift. Where two (2) hours notice is not possible, the employee shall give sufficient notice to the supervisor or designates named above prior to the commencement of his shift in order that replacement employees may be obtained. The Employer reserves the right to request a doctor’s note.
