Ordinary membership. Any employee employed by an employer within the registered scope of this Council, for whom wages are prescribed in the Collective Agreement, may apply to become a member of either the Furnmed Sick Benefit Society or the NUFAWSA Sick Benefit Society, subject to the employee qualifying and both the employer and employee concerned, paying the prescribed contributions which are applicable to the relevant Society. If successful, the rules of the Fund concerned shall apply to the member.

Ordinary membership. (1) All individual customer account holders shall be Ordinary Members of YPO.
Ordinary membership. Any member of the DSU may apply to join the society as an ordinary member at any time. New members must pay membership fees no lower than the minimum set by the DSU, provide personal details (such as address) on request, and agree to a standard liability waiver. The cost of membership will be determined annually by the Guild. The Guild will process new memberships as swiftly as they reasonably can. Non-members of the DSU may join the Society with the approval of the Guild on a year-by-year basis. The Guild may specify higher membership fees for non-members of the DSU. Non-members of the DSU have no voting rights whatsoever. Except for this, members will have the right to attend, speak at, and vote at any and all General Meetings of the Society. Society membership does not confer a right to participate in any of the Society's events. The Guild may exclude individual members from participating in Society events, except general meetings of the society, following a majority decision by the Guild supported by the current acting Opportunities officer of the Durham Student Union. Any excluded members may be reincluded by a guild majority decision. Any member who wishes to appeal an exclusion should speak to The Guild or to the Opportunities officer. Members are free to leave the Society at any time, however there is no provision for return of membership fees. The Guild may remove members from the Society for violations of the constitution or rules. Yearly memberships expire at the close of the AGM. Honorary Life Membership The Guild may grant ‘Honorary Life Membership’ to members who have shown exemplary commitment to the Society. No membership charge will be levied for Honorary Life Membership. Honorary Life Members have the right to attend and speak at any and all General Meetings of the Society. At the Guild’s discretion, other privileges may be granted to Honorary Life Members. The Guild Guild Members The President, who will: Lead the Society. Manage and direct the rest of the Guild. Represent the Society to other groups and organisations. Chair all Guild Meetings and General Meetings. The Secretary, who will: Minute all Guild Meetings and General Meetings.   • Membership The Committee shall include nine (9) members - five (5) representatives from CUPE/SCFP and four (4) representatives from the CTA. Up to two (2) advisors from the Ministry of Education shall act in a resource capacity to the committee. Other persons may attend meetings in order to provide support and resources as mutually agreed.   • Members (a) A Person shall be admitted as a Member and shall become bound by, and shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by, the terms of this Agreement if such Person purchases or otherwise lawfully acquires any Share, and such Person shall become the Record Holder of such Share, in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. A Person may not become a Member without acquiring a Share.
