Supervisors, except those who work primarily in mid-town Manhattan, if given authorization to use their personal cars on official business in accordance with criteria, procedures and other requirements of generally applicable rules and regulations issued by the Chancellor, shall be reimbursed in accordance with the allowance established by the City Comptroller. It is understood that this provision is subject to the continuing budgetary authority of the Board to permit use of personal cars on official business.

Employees in the bargaining unit will be paid a mileage rate to conform with the Internal Revenue Service Regulations for the use of their personal vehicles if such use is required while on duty and approved in advance by their Battalion Chief. The use of a personal vehicle for the purpose of required court attendance or other overtime assignments shall not entitle employees to a mileage payment.

For employees working in the downtown core at a fixed location that does not necessitate regular daily moves, the employer will provide for personal vehicle parking. If such parking facilities are not available, the employer shall reimburse the employee parking costs as established in the Agreement.

USE OF PERSONAL CARS. Provided a District vehicle of 7 passengers or less is not available, teachers required to drive personal vehicles, in the course of their employment, shall be reimbursed at the IRS approved rate as of July 1st, the beginning of the fiscal year, for all authorized travel on behalf of the District. Travel between a staff member's residence and work assignment is not reimbursable.
USE OF PERSONAL CARS. 13.1 Employees in the bargaining unit will be paid a mileage rate to conform with Internal Revenue Service Regulations for the use of their personal cars if such use is required and approved at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance by their Bureau Commander or his designee, and for travel associated with required training at the Florida Public Safety Institute when a City vehicle is not available at Police Department headquarters. The mileage reimbursement for required training will apply only to the distance traveled between the Florida Public Safety Institute Academy and the Tallahassee Police Department. Use of a personal car for the purpose of required court attendance or other overtime assignments shall not entitle employees to a mileage payment.

In the event that the locally agreed mileage rate as established for all employees in local agreements, negotiated by the local union of the United Association and the historically recognized local Contractor's bargaining group, is higher than the mileage rates set out above, the higher rate shall Article XI PAY DAY Pay day shall be once each week on the fifth working day following the end of the Employer's payroll period, except for extenuating circumstances beyond the control of the Employer. Employees are to be paid, at the option of the Employer, in cash or negotiable payroll check, in person or by mail. When employees are laid off, or discharged, they shall be immediately paid all wages due. The Employer will not be required to comply with local union surety bonding requirements during the term of this Agreement.
