Overdraft Protection Plan. If we have approved an overdraft protection plan for your account, we will honor checks drawn on insufficient funds by transferring funds from another account under this Agreement or a loan account, as you have directed, or as required under the Credit Union’s overdraft protection policy. The fee for overdraft transfers, if any, is set forth on the Rate and Fee Schedule. This Agreement governs all transfers, except those governed by agreements for loan accounts.

We will transfer funds to your checking account from a loan or share account in the order you have directed. Transfers from a deposit ac- count will be governed by this Agreement. Transfers from a line of credit account will be governed by your Loan Agreement.
Overdraft Protection Plan. The Credit Union offers the Overdraft Protection service to eligible consumer checking account owners (not available to minors or business account owners). Overdraft Protection service means that we may honor and pay your checks drawn against insufficient funds so that your checks are not returned unpaid. The Overdraft Protection Plan cannot be applied for and is made available only to members meeting specific qualifying criteria. In order to be eligible to receive Overdraft Protection you must be a member in good standing. Other qualifying criteria may apply. Not all members may qualify. Our Overdraft Protection Plan may apply to checks and other transactions you have drawn against insufficient funds in your checking account(s) with us, as well as other transfer or withdrawal request(s) you have authorized (such as, but not limited to, pre-authorized transfers) for which funds are insufficient. However, if you would like the Credit Union to provide Overdraft Protection service for one time debit (everyday/point-of-sale) card purchase transactions and ATM transactions (when available) you must specifically notify us to do so (“opt-in”). This overdraft service is not a line of credit, it is not guaranteed, and is independent of any other payment arrangement we may offer. We may, at our sole discretion, but are not obligated to, make payment on such overdrawn checks, transfers, and/or withdrawal requests in any order at our option or return the overdrawn checks, transfers, and/or withdrawal requests unpaid. Also, we may refuse to pay an overdraft for you at any time, even if we have previously paid overdrafts for you. Regardless, we are not liable for any action we take regarding payment or nonpayment of an overdrawn check, transfer, or withdrawal requests. If we choose to pay an overdrawn check, transfer, or withdrawal request, you will be subject to a fee(s) in the amount as set forth in the accompanying Fee Schedule for each transaction. In that event, you understand and agree that you are obligated to reimburse us and you are required to deposit with us sufficient good funds to cover the overdrawn check, transfer, or withdrawal request and pay the applicable fee(s). If we choose not to pay the overdrawn check, transfer, or withdrawal request, you are subject to the applicable fee(s) for each such item in the amount set forth in our Fee Schedule. We reserve the right to limit the number of overdrawn checks and the total dollar amount of overdrawn checks, ...

Overdraft Protection Plan. Any signer on the account may add or revoke consent for an overdraft protection plan. Funds from share or Money Market Accounts will be transferred in increments of $25 up to the available balance in the account. The fee for overdraft transfers, if any, is set forth on the Fee Schedule. This Agreement governs all transfers, except those governed by agreements for loan accounts, including credit cards in which all terms of the Credit Card Application and Solicitation Disclosure apply. If you link your Westerra credit card to your checking account to cover overdrafts, cash advances will be made from your credit card to cover the transaction, without exceeding the credit limit on your credit card, and you will be charged a cash advance fee, as set forth on the Credit Card Application and Solicitation Disclosure and Fee Schedule. For debit card transactions, the amount needed to cover the transaction is transferred, up to your credit limit on the credit card, for a cash advance fee. For all other methods of payment, transfers are made in the nearest increment of $25, up to your credit limit on the credit card, for a cash advance fee. This means you will be charged interest immediately on the amount charged to the credit card at the interest rate (or APR) for cash advances. When you submit a request to link your accounts, Westerra may reach out to you to confirm your request.

Overdraft Protection Plan. Whether you “opt-in” or “opt-out” for our Standard Overdraft Services for debit card and/or other transactions, you also may choose to apply for our Overdraft Protection Plan. While a fee is charged when your Overdraft Protection Plan is used, it usually will be less than fees charged for the Standard Overdraft Services. You should compare fees and your options for overdrafts. The Overdraft Protection Plan pays overdrafts by authorizing a transfer of funds from a companion checking, money market, savings or Execuline home equity line of credit loan account owned by you and held at Capitol Federal, subject to certain limitations. Please refer to the separate fee schedule for information concerning the Overdraft and NSF charges. The Overdraft Protection Plan must be accepted by us before the overdraft occurs in order for it to be used to automatically cover an overdraft.

This Agreement governs all transfers, except those governed by agreements for loan accounts. You have the choice to opt in or opt out of our courtesy pay program for your everyday debit card transactions (purchases made with your debit card on a day to day basis). By opting in, you are asking Capital Credit Union to accept the everyday debit card transactions that occur when there are not enough funds in your account to cover the transaction(s). Transactions will be accepted under the courtesy pay program if you’ve been approved for this service. We reserve the right to cancel this service at any time. The fee per transaction is set forth in the Rate and Fee Schedule, which may be obtained at any location, online or requested by mail. By opting out, you are asking Capital Credit Union to reject the everyday debit card transactions that occur when there are not enough funds in your account to cover the transaction(s). Transactions will be denied at the merchant. The fee per transaction is $0. For member accounts, if you do not opt in or opt out, we will assume you do not want to opt in and you will be automatically opted out of the program for these transactions.

The Overdraft Protection Plan consist on a Line of Credit, as requested by you and approved on your behalf by the credit union, based on the parameters required on our Loan Policy. If you exceed the limit of your line of credit, you will not be protected by this plan.
