Overtime at double (2X an employee’s hourly rate shall be paid for all time worked in excess of scheduled daily hours. Overtime on a daily basis, will not be considered as beginning until an employee has worked one-quarter (1/4) hour beyond the normal scheduled quitting time, in which case overtime will be considered to be all time worked in excess of regular daily schedule. All overtime will be paid in fifteen (15) minute increments. 12.10 When a shift employee’s schedule is changed by the Company, the employee shall be paid double time (2X) for the first shift of the new schedule. 12.11 Employees may be permitted to exchange shifts or days off at the discretion of the appropriate Supervisor, or delegate providing: a) The “Mutual Shift Exchange Form” (see Appendix ‘B’) is completed no less than 24 hours prior to such change. b) No additional cost or penalty shall be paid by the Company

  • Overtime Compensation (a) Overtime worked shall be compensated at the following rates:

  • Overtime Pay a) A casual employee shall be entitled to overtime pay in accordance with Article 27.05 in the following circumstances:

  • Safety Footwear Allowance Effective 1/1/07, the Contra Costa Community College District will provide an initial two pairs of safety/protective work boots or shoes for employees in the following classifications: Building Maintenance Worker, Equipment Maintenance Worker, Senior Equipment Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Mechanic, Lead Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Assistant, Ground Worker / Gardener I, II, Senior or Lead, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, and all other mutually agreed upon classifications required to wear safety; protective shoes per OSHA/ASTM standards.

  • Overtime Premium Pay Time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee's straight time rate of pay shall be paid for all hours actually worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one workweek.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Policy It shall be the policy of the City to avoid overtime work except when absolutely necessary and on the advance authorization of the appropriate supervisor, except that in an emergency such authorization may be granted subsequently.

  • Overtime Meal Allowances (a) An Employee who is required to work a minimum of two and one-half (2½) hours overtime before or after his/her scheduled hours of work, shall be provided with a meal or shall be reimbursed nine dollars ($9.00). A meal break of one-half (½) hour with pay shall be given at the overtime rate. This section shall not apply to an Employee who is on travel status which entitles him/her to claim for lodging and/or meals.
