Overtime Exempt Exclusion. Employees who are awarded Annual Management Administrative Leave in recognition of the extra burden their job responsibilities may sometimes place on their work schedules are overtime exempt and are not eligible for overtime pay, holiday pay, overtime compensatory time, or holiday compensatory time. However, these employees may be made eligible for overtime pay if their names are placed on the Overtime Exempt Exclusion List by the County Administrator's Office. Employees on the Overtime Exempt Exclusion list are authorized to receive overtime pay, only. These employees are NOT eligible for holiday pay, overtime compensatory time, or holiday compensatory time. Employees on the Overtime Exempt Exclusion List are also NOT eligible for Annual Management Administrative Leave for the quarter they are on the Overtime Exempt Exclusion List. The policies and the procedures for the Overtime Exempt Exclusion List are set forth in the County Administrator's memo of November 6, 2002, as may be amended. This section does not apply to employees in Unit C. Employees may be approved for placement on the Overtime Exempt Exclusion List if and when they are assigned to a special or temporary project or task that requires persistent, excess work hours, without relief from their regular job duties. Overtime pay will not be authorized as a means to address normal staffing or operational issues. Employees on the Overtime Exempt Exclusion List are eligible for County overtime pay, only. County overtime will only be paid for work performed in excess of the employee's scheduled work day (e.g. 8, 9, 10, or 12 hour work days, as applicable) or in excess of forty (40) hours in a work week, so long as the employee actually worked all of his/her scheduled hours in the applicable work day/work week. County overtime will be paid at the rate of one and one half (1.5) times the employee's base rate of pay (not including differentials).

  • Service Exclusions All of an Employee's years of Service with the Employer shall be counted to determine the vested interest of such Employee except:

  • Accrual of Annual Leave (a) An employee shall accrue an amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 4 week period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/13 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee for the employer during that 4 week period. (b) Annual leave shall accrue on a pro-rata basis and be credited to the employee monthly.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Additional Exclusions A Receiving Party will not violate its confidentiality obligations if it discloses the Disclosing Party’s Confidential Information if required by applicable laws, including by court subpoena or similar instrument so long as the Receiving Party provides the Disclosing Party with written notice of the required disclosure so as to allow the Disclosing Party to contest or seek to limit the disclosure or obtain a protective order. If no protective order or other remedy is obtained, the Receiving Party will furnish only that portion of the Confidential Information that is legally required, and agrees to exercise reasonable efforts to ensure that confidential treatment will be accorded to the Confidential Information so disclosed.

  • Overtime Defined All time worked before or after the regular work day, the regular work week or on a holiday, as specified herein, shall be considered overtime.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.
