Overtime Meal Break: Monday to Friday Sample Clauses

Overtime Meal Break: Monday to Friday. Employees required to work overtime (after their usual ceasing time for the day or shift) for one and one half hours or more shall be allowed to take an overtime meal break of twenty (20) minutes duration immediately, after the usual ceasing time paid at ordinary time rates. After each subsequent four hours of continuous work the Employee shall be allowed to take an overtime meal break of twenty (20) minutes duration, provided work continues after the taking of the overtime meal break, without loss of pay. Where by agreement between the Employer and the Employee, an Employee continues to work past his/her usual finishing time in excess of two hours without taking his/her overtime meal break, the Employee shall be regarded as having worked twenty (20) minutes more than the time worked and shall be paid accordingly.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Payment for Working Overtime on a Holiday Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice (2x) his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.

  • Payment for Unused Sick Leave a. An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

  • Compensation for Work on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is regularly scheduled to work, in accordance with Article 14, and her regularly scheduled day of work falls on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she shall receive compensation equal to two and one-half (2 ½) times her regular rate of pay as follows:
