Overtime Meal Break. All employees requested to work overtime beyond the regular work day shall be allowed a one (1) hour paid meal period at the regular hourly rate of pay, provided such overtime is in excess of two (2) hours work. The meal period may be taken before, during or after the overtime work as may be appropriate and mutually agreed.
Overtime Meal Break. (a) An employee required to work overtime in excess of one and a half hours after working ordinary hours shall be allowed a meal break of twenty minutes before commencing overtime work and thereafter upon completing each four hour period until the overtime work is finished and such meal breaks shall be paid for at the ordinary rate.
(b) An employee required to work overtime in excess of one and a half hours prior to the ordinary commencement time shall be allowed a meal break at the ordinary commencement time at the ordinary rate.
(c) Linfox and employee may agree to any variation of this provision to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that Linfox shall not be required to make any payment in respect of any time allowed in excess of twenty minutes.
Overtime Meal Break. After the regular eight (8) hour work day, when more than two (2) hours overtime is worked, employees shall be entitled to one-half (1⁄2) hour lunch period at overtime rate and one- half (1⁄2) hour lunch period at overtime rate every four (4) hours thereafter. (See Paragraph 58 of the Basic Agreement.)
Overtime Meal Break. 5.5.15.1 All shift workers while working on day, afternoon or night shift shall be entitled to a paid crib time of 20 minutes. Such crib time is to be allowed and taken as prescribed in clause 5.5.6.
5.5.15.2 Unless the period of overtime is less than one (1) and a half hours an employee before starting overtime after working ordinary hours shall be allowed a meal break of 20 minutes which shall be paid for at ordinary rates. The Company and Employee may agree to any variation of this provision to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that the Company shall not be required to make any payment in respect of any time allowed in excess of 20 minutes.
Overtime Meal Break. 22.4.1 After overtime is worked following the completion of ordinary hours for more than two hours or after 6.30 p.m. (whichever occurs first) and overtime is continuing, the employee shall be allowed a crib break of twenty minutes and thereafter upon completing each four hour period until the overtime work is finished and such crib-breaks shall be paid for at the ordinary rate.
22.4.2 The Employer and employee may agree to any variation of this provision to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that the Employer shall not be required to make any payment in respect of any time allowed in excess of twenty minutes.
Overtime Meal Break. An Employee is entitled to a 20 minute crib break when working two (2) or more hours of overtime on any engagement.
Overtime Meal Break. It is the intent that the Employees will be granted a meal break of not less than thirty (30) minutes duration, during overtime work at intervals of not more than four (4) hours, that is, four hours elapsed time from the end of the prior meal. However, no meal break shall be provided to an Employee where he works only one hour or less beyond his regular day or shift.
Overtime Meal Break. When two (2) or more hours on overtime is required by the Individual Employer after the regular workday, journeymen and/or apprentices shall receive one-half (1/2) hour lunch period at double the rate of pay as outlined in Article IX with no loss of time and for each additional four (4) hours worked journeymen and/or apprentices shall receive one-half (1/2) hour lunch period at double the proper rate of pay with no loss of time. (The intent of this paragraph is to require that the employee be provided the paid meal break (1/2 hour at double the rate of pay) only when the employee is returning to work after the paid meal break). A minimum of two (2) hour’s pay at double the proper rate of pay shall be provided journeymen and/or apprentices when reporting for overtime work. When overtime is required by the Individual Employer on new work the minimum overtime shall be one (1) hour at the applicable overtime rate.
Overtime Meal Break. 22.2.1 An employee working overtime will be allowed a crib time of twenty minutes without deduction of pay after each four hours of overtime worked if the employee continues work after such crib time.
(a) Provided that where an employee is required to work overtime on a Saturday the first prescribed crib time will if occurring between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00
22.2.2 Unless the period of overtime is less than one and a half hours an employee before starting overtime after working ordinary hours inclusive of time worked for accrual purposes as prescribed in clauses 20 and 21 will be allowed a meal break of twenty minutes which will be paid for at ordinary rates.
22.2.3 An employer and employee may agree to any variation of these provisions to meet the circumstances of the work in hand provided that the employer will not be required to make payment in respect of any time allowed in excess of twenty minutes.
