Overtime – Police Sergeants. ‌ The City reserves the right to schedule overtime work as required in a manner most advantageous to the City and consistent with the public interest and the requirement of municipal employment. Overtime is subject to prior approval. Police Sergeants shall receive overtime compensation at the rate of 1½ the employee's regular rate of pay in cash or compensatory time off, for all time worked, or deemed to have been worked (including paid leaves of absences) in excess of the employee's regularly scheduled daily shift or 40 hours per workweek for employees on a 4/10 shift schedule, or 160 hours in a 28-day work period for employees on a 3/12.5 hour shift schedule. For Police Sergeants assigned to the 3/12.5 hour shift schedule, the 28-day work period will be divided into two (2) 14-calendar day pay periods; one (1)pay period shall include 75 scheduled hours and the other 14-calendar day pay period shall include 85 scheduled hours. Overtime shall be paid to the employees assigned to the 3/12.5 hour shift schedule when the number of hours worked (including all paid leaves of absences) exceeds 75 hours or 85 hours in the respective pay period. Overtime worked pursuant to grant funding must be compensated for in cash. In lieu of overtime compensation, employees may receive equal compensatory time off upon their request and with the approval of the Bureau Commander. For employees on a 3/13 hour shift schedule, when the number of hours worked, or deemed to have been worked, (including all paid leaves of absences), exceeds 78 hours or 86 hours in the respective pay period, the employee will be assigned 78 scheduled hours for three (3) consecutive 14-calendar day pay periods and then one (1) 14-day calendar pay period which shall include 86 scheduled hours.

For employees assigned to a 12 hour schedule the City may adjust the workweek definition for modified work schedules to be in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. The workweek for an assigned 12 hour schedule employee shall split each Saturday of the pay period at them point of their regularly scheduled shift on a Saturday. Overtime worked pursuant to grant funding must be compensated for in cash. In lieu of overtime compensation, employees may receive equal compensatory time off upon their request and with the approval of the Bureau Commander.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. COALITION will offer technical assistance for providers on probation. The technical assistance will be designed to facilitate the development and implementation of an improvement plan. The technical assistance will be offered in a manner and schedule prescribed by the COALITION or school district.

  • Training Assistance (a) Employees shall be reimbursed for one hundred percent (100%) of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer.

  • Tobacco Use Counseling and Intervention This plan covers smoking cessation programs when prescribed by a physician in accordance with R.I. General Law §27-20-53 and ACA guidelines. Smoking cessation programs include, but are not limited to, the following: • Smoking cessation counseling must be provided by a physician or upon his or her referral to a qualified licensed practitioner. • Over-the-counter and FDA approved nicotine replacement therapy and/or smoking cessation prescription drugs, prescribed by a physician, and purchased at a pharmacy. See the Summary of Pharmacy Benefits for details on coverage. Vaccinations/Immunizations This plan covers adult and pediatric preventive vaccinations and immunizations in accordance with current guidelines. Our allowance includes the administration and the vaccine. If a covered immunization is provided as part of an office visit, the office visit copayment and deductible (if any) will apply. Travel immunizations are covered to the extent that such immunizations are recommended for adults and children by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The recommendations are subject to change by the CDC. Preventive Screening/Early Detection Services This plan covers preventive screenings based on the ACA guidelines noted above. Preventive screenings include but are not limited to: • mammograms; • pap smears; • prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests; • flexible sigmoidoscopy; • double contrast barium enema; • fecal occult blood tests, screening for gestational diabetes, and human papillomavirus; and • genetic counseling for breast cancer susceptibility gene (BRCA). This plan covers colonoscopies in accordance with R.I. General Laws § 27-18-58. Covered healthcare services include an initial colonoscopy or other medical tests or procedures for colorectal cancer screening and a follow-up colonoscopy if the results of the initial test are abnormal. Contraceptive Methods and Sterilization Procedures for Women This plan covers the following contraceptive services: • FDA approved contraceptive drugs and devices requiring a prescription; • barrier method (cervical cap, diaphragm, or implantable) fitted and supplied during an office visit; and • surgical and sterilization services for women with reproductive capacity, including but not limited to tubal ligation. Breastfeeding Counseling and Equipment This plan covers lactation (breastfeeding) support and counseling during the pregnancy or postpartum period when provided by a licensed lactation counselor. This plan covers manual, electric, or battery operated breast pumps for a female member in conjunction with each birth event.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Contractor Personnel Contractor's staff is expected to present a professional appearance. All personnel of the Contractor will be neat, well groomed, properly uniformed in industry standard uniforms and are expected to conduct themselves at all times in a responsible and courteous manner while performing any work under this Agreement and/or whenever they are on District property. The following code of conduct will be adhered to by the Contractor, his agent(s) and/or his employees. If Contractor fails to ensure that its employees or other agents comply with these requirements, then Contractor may be terminated for cause under this Agreement:

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.
