Ownership of the Chromebook. The Xxxxxxx Public Schools retains sole right of possession of the Chromebook. The Chromebooks are lent to the students for educational purposes only for the academic year. Moreover, Xxxxxxx Public Schools administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks at any time, including via electronic remote access and to alter, add, or delete installed software or hardware. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE IPAD / CHROMEBOOK Students are solely responsible for the Chromebooks issued to them and must adhere to the following: ● Students must comply with District Policy 524: Internet Acceptable Use and Safety and this Chromebook Agreement when using their Chromebooks. ● Students must bring their Chromebooks to school every day and make sure it is fully charged. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action. (Note: a fully charged Xxxxxxx Chromebook should last the full school day.) ● Students must treat their device with care and never leave it in an unsecured location. ● Students must promptly report any problems with their Chromebook to the building media center ("The Crossing"). ● Students may not remove or interfere with the serial number and other identification tags. ● Students may not attempt to remove or change the physical structure of the Chromebook, including the protective cases, keys, screen cover, or plastic casing. ● Students may not attempt to install or run any operating system on the Chromebook other than the ChromeOS operating system supported by the district. RESPONSIBILITY FOR ELECTRONIC DATA Students are responsible for backing up their data to protect from loss. Users of District Technology have no rights, ownership, or expectations of privacy to any data that is, or was, stored on the Chromebook, school network, or any school-issued applications and are given no guarantees that data will be retained or destroyed. The Chromebooks are LOANED to the students while in school for educational purposes for the academic year. Moreover, MCPS administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks at any time, including via electronic remote access and to alter, add, delete installed software or hardware. Ownership of the Chromebook. The District retains sole right of title and ownership of the Chromebook, charger and case (“Equipment”). The Equipment lent to the Student for the academic school year is to be used only for educational purposes. At any time, the District may request that the Equipment be returned. Upon such a request, the Student will immediately return the Equipment.
Ownership of the Chromebook. Chromebooks are the property of PVSD. To ensure their use as a positive learning tool in coordination with the District’s curriculum, PVSD administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks or student device accounts at any time with or without notice, including via electronic remote access and to alter, add or delete installed software or hardware.
Ownership of the Chromebook. Uxbridge Public Schools retain sole ownership of the Chromebook. The Chromebooks are loaned out to students for educational purposes for the academic year. Uxbridge Public Schools retain the right to collect and/or inspect the Chromebook at any time, including electronic remote access to alter, add, delete software.
Ownership of the Chromebook. All students in grades K-12 will be issued Google Chromebooks for educational use during school hours. Before a Chromebook can be issued to your child you must sign and return the Agreement form below and pay a $10 technology fee. Trenton School retains sole right of possession of the Chromebook. Trenton School will lend the Chromebook to the students for educational purposes for the academic school year. Additionally, Trenton School administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks at any time, including via electronic remote access and to alter, add, or delete installed software of hardware.
Ownership of the Chromebook. Chromebooks are the property of the District until the Guardian/Parents/Student pays their portion of the cost in full. To ensure their use as a positive learning tool in coordination with the District’s curriculum, District 113 administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks at any time, including via electronic remote access and to alter, add or delete installed software or hardware during their school enrollment.
Ownership of the Chromebook. Fort Xxx Public Schools retains sole right of possession of the Chromebook. The Chromebooks are loaned to the students for educational purposes only for a four year period or until they graduate or leave the district. Moreover, Fort Xxx Public Schools’ administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect Chromebooks at any time, including via electronic remote access, and to alter, add or delete installed software or hardware. Responsibility for the Chromebook Students/Parents are solely responsible for the Chromebooks issued to them and must adhere to the following: ● Students must comply with the District’s Technology Acceptable Use & Internet Safety Policy when using their Chromebooks. ● Students must bring their Chromebook to school every day and make sure it is fully charged. ● Students must treat their device with care and never leave it in an unsecured location. ● Students are strongly advised to keep their device in a protective case or backpack when traveling. ● Students must promptly report any problems with their Chromebook to their School Media Specialist. ● Students may not remove or interfere with the serial number and other identification tags. ● Students may not attempt to remove or change the physical structure of the Chromebook, including the keys, screen cover or plastic casing. ● Students may not attempt to install or run any operating system on the Chromebook other than the Chrome operating system supported by the district. ● Students must keep their device clean and must not touch the screen with anything other than approved computer screen cleaners. (e.g., pen, pencil, etc.) ● Students must sign into their school issued Google education account.
Ownership of the Chromebook. All chromebooks currently under a lease or payment plan remain the property of Modbury - Preschool to Year 7 and will bear a school asset sticker. These may not be modified or tampered with in any way. For those buying chromebooks in instalments, upon last payment the barcode will be removed. The school will maintain a log of all chromebooks and the students assigned to them. Each student will be assigned the same chromebook for the duration of their time at Modbury - Preschool to Year 7 School and cannot swap or use another student's chromebook. When payments are due Payments for Chromebooks must be paid prior to collection and carry through until the last Wednesday of the term. The following terms payment must be made before a Chromebook can be taken home during the holiday period. Payments must be made prior to each term unless negotiated with the school finance officer. If payments are 2 weeks overdue, the student will no longer have access to the device during school time and their G-Suite account will be locked until payment is received.

Administrative staff and faculty retain the right to collect and/or inspect the Chromebook at any time, including via remote access, to alter, add, or delete installed software or hardware. Responsibility for the Chromebook Students are solely responsible for the Chromebook issued to them, and must adhere to the following: ● Students must comply with SJV’s Acceptable Use Policy when using their Chromebooks. ● Students must bring their Chromebook to school every day making sure to have it fully charged. (A fully charged Chromebook should last at least 8 hours.) ● Students must treat their device with care and never leave it in an unsecured area. ● Students must carry their device in a protective bag. ● Students must promptly report any problems with their Chromebook to the Tech Staff Member(s) designated. ● Students may not remove or interfere with the serial number and other identification tags. ● Students may not attempt to remove or change any part of the physical structure of the Chromebook (keys, screen, etc…). ● Students may not attempt to install any other operating system on the Chromebook. ● Students must keep their device clean, not touching the screen with anything other than approved screen cleaners. Responsibility for Electronic Data The students are responsible for apps or extensions on their Chromebook not installed by a member of the Tech Staff. Students are responsible for backing up their data to protect it from loss. Copyright and Filesharing Students are required to follow all copyright laws around all media including text, images, programs, music, and video. Downloading, sharing, and posting online illegally obtained media is not permitted.
