Parent/Guardian Participation. Parent/guardian understands that Patterns’ program is a parent participation model. This means that the Parent/Guardian’s participation during in-home sessions is mandated by Patterns Behavior Services, Inc., as well as our funding sources. Parent/Guardian Participation. The catechetical portion of the program, including testing, will be done at home. Other activities, such as In-Person Instruction, Service Hours, Adoration and Youth Group will be required for certain grades. In addition, we are implementing the Diocesan policy of parent cooperation as stated below: An integral part of the education philosophy of St. Xxx Xxxxxx and Holy Spirit Chapel is the conviction that the CCD program assists the parents/guardians in carrying out their primary responsibility of providing for the religious education of their children. An ongoing positive working relationship between the parent/guardian and the religious program is critical for the success of the program and the students. As part of that working relationship, parents/guardians are expected to be involved as much as possible in the education of their children, to refrain from conduct which thwarts the orderly administration and operation of the program, to support and participate in the program activities, and to set a positive example for their children both at home and in the community. While the St. Xxx Xxxxxx and Holy Spirit Chapel CCD Program encourages constructive exchange of ideas, feedback and suggestions intended to xxxxxx the continued growth and improvement of the program, the Pastor and Director of Religious Education, are ultimately in charge of the CCD Program and the orderly administration and operation of that program including the policies and procedures implemented to achieve the goals of the CCD Program.   • Union Participation The Employer agrees not to interfere with the rights of the employees to become members of the Union and there shall be no discrimination, interference, restraint, or coercion by the Employer or any Employer representative against any employee because of Union membership or because of any employee activity officially sanctioned by this contract on behalf of the Union.

  • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.
