Part Time Wages and Wage Progression. 1. All part-time employees who have attained seniority as of August 1, 200813 shall receive the following general wage increases for each contract year. In the first three (3) years of the contract, the increase will be effective on August 1st. In 2016 and 2017 each of the years, the increase shall be paid in two (2) equal installments. The first-half of the increase shall become effective on August 1 of the specified year. The second half of the increase shall become effective on February 1 of the following calendar year. The total wage increase for each year shall be as follows: TENTATIVE AGREEMENT Effective Amount 2008 seventy cents ($0.70) 2009 seventy-five cents ($0.75) 2010 seventy-five cents ($0.75) 2011 eighty-five cents ($0.85) 2012 ninety-five cents ($0.95) 2013 seventy cents ($0.70) 2014 seventy cents ($0.70) 2015 seventy cents ($0.70) 2016 eighty cents ($0.80) 2017 one dollar ($1.00) Part-time employees still in progression on August 1, 200813 shall receive the above contractual increases and will be paid no less than what they are entitled to in accordance with the wage schedules in Article 3 Section 1(e) 2. The wage rates and increases provided in E. (1) and E. (2) above shall be a minimum. All part-time employees governed by this Article shall be provided a minimum daily three and one-half (3 1/2) hour guarantee. Those part-time customer counter clerks who become subject to the provisions of this Agreement on August 1, 1997, will be placed on the “All Others” wage progression scale on that date and will receive full credit for their company service for wage determination purposes.   • Wage Progression (a) Employees within their position classification will progress from the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on, on the basis of eighteen hundred (1800) hours paid by the Employer at the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on. Hours for which the employee receives WSIB as a result of a work related injury while in the employ of the Employer shall be considered hours paid for the purposes of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within their position classification.

  • Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards.

  • Salary Schedule Progression Employees shall progress from step to step in salary grade on the basis of satisfactory job performance based upon established standards of performance. Seasonal employee's initial anniversary date shall be established after being in pay status for two thousand eighty (2,080) hours. Such date shall then be used for annual performance evaluation and step progression consideration. When an employee's anniversary date falls on any day from the first day of a pay week through Wednesday of the pay week, the employee's merit increase shall be effective as of the first day of the pay week within which the anniversary date falls. Otherwise, the merit increase shall be effective on the first day of the next pay week. Grievances arising from the denial of merit increases shall not be arbitrable under this Agreement but shall be processed as follows:

  • Salary Sacrifice to Superannuation (a) An employee can elect to sacrifice a portion of salary to superannuation. Such election must be made prior to the commencement of the period of service to which the earnings relate and be in accordance with relevant legislation.

  • Benefit Level Two Health Care Network Determination Issues regarding the health care networks for the 2017 insurance year shall be negotiated in accordance with the following procedures:

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.

  • Retirement System The withdrawal of employee contributions made on or after January 1, 2014 may also be withdrawn but only on an actuarially neutral basis. The actuarial present value of the pension reduction shall be equal to the amount of accumulated member contributions withdrawn. The actuarial present value shall computed using the interest rate used in the annual actuarial valuation and the mortality table used in the annual actuarial valuation with a 50% unisex blend.
