Scheduled Work. The hours of work assigned as per the shift schedule. Scheduled work cannot include overtime.
Scheduled Work. (i) One and one-half (1.5) times the employee's basic rate shall be paid for scheduled work performed on Saturdays and Sundays.
(ii) Two (2) times the employee's basic rate shall be paid for:
(a) Scheduled work performed on a statutory holiday which occurs on Monday to Friday. An additional day off will be scheduled in lieu of the statutory holiday within 6 months of the end of the posted schedule.
(b) Scheduled work performed on a statutory holiday which occurs on a Saturday. The premium for a scheduled Saturday in (i) above shall not apply.
Scheduled Work. An employee who is not regularly scheduled to work on a paid holiday identified in this Article but is scheduled to work shall be paid double (2X) time. - Application to Shifts The double (2X) time pay will apply only to a shift in which the majority of the hours fall within the day of the paid holiday, in which case it will apply to the entire shift.
Scheduled Work. Scheduled work is work which is performed by an employee during his customary tours of duty specified in advance as to the particular hours of the day and the particular days of the week that such employee is expected to be on duty.
Scheduled Work. (i) Work schedules for event employees, including starting times and finishing times, shall be assigned on the basis of classification seniority. Such posting will occur two weeks in advance of the date of the event to be worked. Unfilled work assignments shall be offered in order of classification seniority to employees on the Event Short Call List, so as to post the final work schedule.
(ii) An event employee may indicate in writing to the Employer his interest to work in a secondary classification. The Employer shall then place the employee in a secondary classification that he is qualified for when work is available. Employees who do not accept the shift(s) offered will be recorded as such and after three occasions in the 12 preceding months will no longer remain on the list, and may not be able to access another classification for a period of one year from the date of removal.
Scheduled Work. Priority 3 relates to non-critical work for which Maintel will specify a time and date when the support activity is to take place.
Scheduled Work. Day Shift employees may be regularly scheduled to work on holidays, which fall on their workdays. They shall be compensated at the overtime rate of pay in addition to their holiday pay for the shift or work period involved, but shall not be entitled to travel time in connection therewith:
(a) At the option of the affected employees, they may elect to work the regular scheduled holiday at the overtime rate of pay and, in lieu of receiving the holiday pay; they may bank this time to be used in the following year as scheduled vacation time. This time will be posted at the beginning of each year and be scheduled the same as vacation time.
(b) The number of such employees regularly scheduled to work on a holiday shall be kept to a minimum consistent with operational needs.
(c) If the Agency determines that the services of an employee, who is regularly scheduled to work on a holiday, are not required, such employee, upon being notified prior to quitting time of the workday preceding the holiday, shall take the holiday off with pay.
