Payment for meetings outside scheduled work hours When an employee is required by the Employer to attend meetings, in- service and other work related functions outside their regularly scheduled working hours, and the nurse does attend same, they shall be paid for all time spent on such attendance at their regular straight time hourly rate of pay or at the nurse’s option, they shall receive equivalent time off.

Payment for meetings. Employees requested by the Company to attend meetings scheduled at the request of the Company will be paid for their time at the appropriate rate, consistent with the Collective Agreement. However, the minimum recompense shall not apply.
Payment for meetings. The intent of this clause is to have a payment schedule for employees attending work voluntarily in their own time that fairly compensates them for their participation (and does not act as a deterrent to participating). An employee who voluntarily attends work to participate in an agreed meeting shall have two options of payment:
Payment for meetings. An employee who is required to attend a meeting on Company business shall be paid at the non-driving rate of pay or the wage rate he/she works at, whichever is lower, as set out in Schedule A Wage Table. Where meetings take place before or after an employees' shift, he/she shall be paid at the non-driving rate or the wage rate he/she works at, whichever is lower, for all time spent in the meeting. Employees called into meetings on their day(s) off shall be paid at the non-driving rate for all time spent in the meeting with a minimum of two (2) hours pay.

  • Annual Meetings The Annual Meeting of Stockholders for the election of directors shall be held on such date and at such time as shall be designated from time to time by the Board of Directors. Any other proper business may be transacted at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

  • Monthly Meetings The Chief Xxxxxxx or Xxxxxxx designated by the Union and the university’s chief human resources officer or designee shall schedule monthly meetings to review pending grievances and contractual issues and to make good faith efforts to resolve such grievances and issues. The TAC shall: • Help set the project team's goals and contribute to the development and evaluation of its statement of proposed objectives as the project evolves. • Provide a credible and objective sounding board on the wide range of technical and financial barriers and opportunities. • Help identify key areas where the project has a competitive advantage, value proposition, or strength upon which to build. • Advocate on behalf of the project in its effort to build partnerships, governmental support and relationships with a national spectrum of influential leaders. • Ask probing questions that insure a long-term perspective on decision-making and progress toward the project’s strategic goals. • Review and provide comments to proposed project performance metrics. • Review and provide comments to proposed project Draft Technology Transfer Plan.   • Time Off for Meetings Any representative of the Union on this Committee, or their alternate, who is in the employ of the Employer, shall have the privilege of attending meetings of the Committee held within working hours without loss of remuneration, provided that the Senior Administrator has prior notice.

  • Required Meetings An employee or owner operator who is required to attend any meeting on Company business shall be paid at his/her regular rate of pay for such meetings occurring during his/her regular shift or at applicable rates of pay for all such time spent outside of his/her regular shift. Any meetings necessary to comply with the formal grievance provisions of this Article will be held during normal working hours at no loss of pay to the employees or owner operators concerned.

  • Special Meetings Special meetings of the Trustees may be held at any time and at any place designated in the call of the meeting when called by the President or the Treasurer or by two or more Trustees, sufficient notice thereof being given to each Trustee by the Secretary or an Assistant Secretary or by the officer or the Trustees calling the meeting.
