Payment on Death. If an employee dies who was entitled to accumulated annual leave under the provisions of this Article, the heirs of such deceased employee shall be paid an amount of money equal to the number of unused hours of annual leave earned or accrued multiplied by the hourly rate of such deceased employee.
Payment on Death. If an employee dies during active military duty, the employee’s heirs of such deceased employee shall be paid an amount of money equal to the number of unused Military Bank leave hours donated to the employee’s personal Military Leave Bank, multiplied by the hourly rate of such deceased employee.
Payment on Death. 24.8.1 Where an employee dies and any long service leave to which the employee was entitled under this clause has not been taken or accrues as to consequence of his death the employer of the employee at the time of death shall upon request by the employee's personal representative pay to that representative the amount due in respect of such leave. The obligation of the employer to such employee in respect of long service leave shall be and shall be deemed to have been satisfied by such payment.

Where an employee dies, or the head of service has directed that an employee will be presumed to have died on a particular date, the head of service may make a payment or partial payment for unused leave credits and other entitlements directly to the dependants or the domestic partner, or to the legal personal representative, or to the estate, of the former employee of an amount that would have been paid had the employee ceased employment otherwise than because of the employee’s death. The payment in respect of unused LSL will be calculated in accordance with subclause F26.11.

Eligibility periods for health, disability and life insurance benefits are as follows: • Basic Medical and Extended Health Insurance: • Dental, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Group Life Insurance: – effective the first of the month following the day on which they complete 10 months of duty within a consecutive 12 month period at half-time or more. Participation in these plans is mandatory upon eligibility. However, employees may waive participation in the Dental plan provided they have alternate coverage. Should their other dental coverage cease, employees must immediately apply for coverage under the College's Dental plan.
Payment on Death. If the employee has a life partner and should pass away, a payment is made to the legal survivors in accordance with the Dutch statutory provisions.
