PERIODS OF SERVICE Sample Clauses

PERIODS OF SERVICE. The provisions of the AGREEMENT and the various rates of compensation for ENGINEER's services provided for elsewhere in this AGREEMENT have been agreed to in anticipation of the orderly and continuous progress of the PROJECT through completion. If dates by which services are to be completed are extended through no fault of the ENGINEER by a period of six months through or if schedules are accelerated at SPONSOR's request, all rates, measures and amounts of compensation provided herein shall be subject to equitable adjustment as mutually agreed to by both parties.
PERIODS OF SERVICE. This service will be a 24 hour per day continuous facility.
PERIODS OF SERVICE. 1. After the initial appointment at Xxxxx State College, except as modified by E.2. below, tenure track faculty members may apply for promotion during the academic year in which they complete the following minimum periods of service at Xxxxx State College:
PERIODS OF SERVICE. (i) For earlier periods of service to count there must be no breaks between the periods of service, except where: the break in service is less than 1 month and occurs where an offer of employment with the new employer was made and accepted by the employee before ceasing employment with the preceding employer; or the earlier period of service was with the APS and ceased because the employee was deemed to have resigned from the APS on marriage under the then section 49 (as repealed in 1966) of the repealed Public Service Act 1922. (ii) Subject to 48.7 (i) service for redundancy pay purposes means: service with the Commission; Government service as defined in section 10 of the Long Service Leave Act 1976; service with the Commonwealth (other than service with a joint Commonwealth-State body corporate in which the Commonwealth has a controlling interest) which is recognised for long service leave purposes; service with the Australian Defence Forces; APS service immediately preceding deemed resignation under the then section 49 (as repealed in 1966) of the repealed Public Service Act 1922, if the service has not previously been recognised for severance pay purposes; and service in another organisation where an employee was moved from the APS to give effect to an administrative re-arrangement; or where an employee is engaged as an APS employee as a result of an administrative re-arrangement; and such service is recognised for long service leave purposes. Any period or service which ceased through termination of employment on the following grounds will not count as service for redundancy pay purposes: the employee lacks, or has lost an essential qualification for performing his or her duties; non-performance, or unsatisfactory performance of duties; inability to perform duties because of physical or mental incapacity; failure to satisfactorily complete an entry level training course; failure to meet a condition imposed under subsection 22(6) of the Public Service Act, including probation; a breach of the Code of Conduct; for a reason equivalent to a reason listed above at 48.7 (a) to (f) under the repealed Public Service Act 1922 any other ground prescribed by the Public Service Regulations; through voluntary retrenchment at or above the minimum retiring age applicable to the employee; or with the payment of a redundancy benefit or similar payment or an employer financed retirement benefit.

PERIODS OF SERVICE. This Task Order shall become effective on the date of final acceptance of the parties hereto and shall terminate on June 30, 2019, unless extended by a supplemental Task Order.
PERIODS OF SERVICE. 4.1. The various services called for under this Agreement will be completed by , 20 . If Owner has requested significant modifications or changes in the scope, extent or character of the project, the time of performance of Consultant's services and/or Consultant’s compensation shall be adjusted equitably. If Consultant's services are delayed or suspended in whole or in part by Owner for reasons beyond Consultant's control, the various rates of compensation provided for elsewhere in this Agreement and the time for completion may be subject to equitable adjustment.
PERIODS OF SERVICEPeriod of service divided by a break due to resignation, termination or employment outside the bargaining unit shall not be added together to determine seniority. Employees who left the bargaining unit, but continue to be employed by the Holyoke Public Schools may return to the unit provided, however, that they achieved professional teacher status in Holyoke prior to leaving the unit, and they will be credited upon their return with their prior bargaining unit seniority.
PERIODS OF SERVICE. 11.2.1 The ENGINEER shall begin work immediately upon receipt of the Notice-to-Proceed in writing by the COUNTY or the COUNTY’s designee. The project will proceed according to the schedule shown in Exhibit “A.” The schedule makes certain assumptions regarding review processes and other activities that are beyond the control of the ENGINEER. 11.2.2 Working days shall be defined as standard workdays between Monday and Friday, exclusive of holidays.
PERIODS OF SERVICE. 1. After the initial appointment at Xxxxx State College, except as modified by E.2. below, faculty members may apply for promotion during the academic year in which they complete the following minimum periods of service at Xxxxx State College: a. From Instructor to Assistant Professor: Promotion from Instructor to Assistant Professor will be recommended by FEAC and the Xxxxxxx upon official evidence of completion of the terminal degree; b. From Assistant Professor to Associate Professor: Five (5) years; c. From Associate Professor to Professor: Five (5) years. d. One year of credit toward promotion to associate professor will be awarded for each year of service as an instructor at Xxxxx State College, up to a maximum of two years. 2. By agreement at the time of appointment, previous appropriate full-time service at other institutions of higher education shall be considered in meeting a portion of the above minimum time-in-rank criteria. Such substitutions are anticipated to be rare, relative to appointments normally made to the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. The maximum credit toward time-in-rank will be one (1) year for those appointed at the instructor rank and two (2) years for those appointed at the assistant or associate ranks. 3. The Xxxxxxx may seek a recommendation from the FEAC and/or DPEC regarding a candidate’s experience and credentials in determining qualifications for appointment to a given rank.
