Personal Leave Cash. In Employee may cash out up to two hundred (200) hours each fiscal year in no more than two installments. The Administrator has the authority to defer a request for up to thirty (30) days if there is a budget shortfall or cash flow problem or any other legitimate business need arises. The Employee shall be notified in writing of the reason for the deferral.

Personal Leave Cash. Out - An employee with more than three (3) years seniority may cash out his/her personal leave days annually.
Personal Leave Cash. Out: A peace officer may designate up to thirty-two (32) PPL hours annually toward their paycheck or 457 Deferred Compensation Account consistent with IRS guidelines. This will be paid out at the peace officer’s current hourly rate as taxable income. Annually, a peace officer may designate forty (40) PPL hours to fund their 457 Deferred Compensation Account, Health Savings Account (HSA), or their paycheck, consistent with IRS guidelines provided the peace officer has utilized forty (40) PPL hours prior to November 1. A minimum of eight (8) hours, of the forty (40) PPL hours, must be designated to fund the peace officer’s HSA account.
Personal Leave Cash. Out Program The Personal Leave Incentive program has been replaced with the Personal Leave Cash-Out Program, whereby an employee with at least 280 hours of personal leave in their personal leave bank and whom has not reached their maximum annual usage may exchange 40 hours of personal leave for an equivalent amount of pay. Under no circumstances will an employee be allowed to exchange leave for wages if the exchange would result in exceeding the maximum annual usage. The exchange may occur only one time per fiscal year (October – September). The 40 hours will be deducted from the employee’s personal leave bank, and the maximum annual usage for the current fiscal year will be reduced by 40 hours. Disbursement will occur the pay period following approval, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Personal Leave Written request for a personal leave of absence without pay will be considered on an individual basis by the Hospital. Such requests are to be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor at least four (4) weeks in advance, unless not reasonably possible to give such notice, and a written reply will be given within fourteen (14) days except in cases of emergency in which case a reply will be given as soon as possible. Employees needing personal leave days for appointments with medical practitioners may utilize the personal leave language. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Personal Leave Accrual All employees shall accrue personal leave at the rate of one and twenty-three hundredths (1.23) hours for each eighty (80) hours in active pay status, excluding overtime hours, not to exceed a total of thirty-two (32) hours accrued in one year.

  • Personal Leave With Pay Full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use up to a maximum of six days personal leave with pay per year provided that such days shall be charged against the employee's currently accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.

  • Extended Personal Leave Personal leave without pay not to exceed thirty (30) 26 days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Personal leave in 27 excess of thirty (30) days shall be subject to approval by the Board.
