Placement on Wage Scale. EXPERIENCE CREDIT‌ The Employermayhire a new employee above the Base Rate forhis/herjob classification provided: 1) the employee is not placed on a step higher than the employee’s documented years of relevant experience, and 2) it does not place the employee on the scale above any current employee in the job class with the same or more relevant experience. When a new bargaining unit employee is hired above the base rate, the Employer shall clearly document in his/her Personnel File the step of the Scale the employee was awarded and the rationale for such placement. Such employees shall advance to the next step on the Wage Scale the first full pay period beginning on or after the employee’s anniversary date as if he/she had the requisite years of continuous service required to achieve that step.

Placement on Wage Scale. Upon ratification of this agreement, bargaining unit employees of the former Oak Lodge Water District will be placed on the wage scale in their current position at the step level corresponding with either the certification level they currently hold or the years of service completed in the current position.
Placement on Wage Scale. Employees hired into a bargaining unit position or transferring to a new classification within the bargaining unit will be placed on Step 1 of the wage scale for that classification or as otherwise agreed upon.
Placement on Wage Scale. Effective at the beginning of the first full payroll period on or after the effective date of this Agreement, and after the across-the-board increase, employees will be placed on the step of the Wage Scale (attached as Appendix C) that is at or just above their new base rate of pay. If, after the applicable across-the-board increase, an employee's base rate of pay is below the base rate of pay for his or her respective job classification, that employee will be placed at the first step on the Wage Scale for his or her job classification. If an employee's new base rate of pay is less than 2% from the maximum rate of pay for his or her job classification, that employee will have the option of receiving a lump sum payment equal to 2% of his or her annual pay (based on their gross income for the previous year), or being placed at the top step, and receiving the balance of the 2% step increase as a lump sum payment. If an employee's adjusted base rate of pay is at or above the highest step for his or her job classification, that employee shall keep their new rate of pay, and receive a lump sum payment equal to 2% of his or her annual pay (based on their gross income for the previous year).

  • Agreement on Central Terms The Parties have agreed to participate in the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation Employee Life and Health Trust “OSSTF ELHT” established October 6, 2016. The date on which the school boards and the bargaining units benefit plan commenced participation in the OSSTF ELHT shall be referred to herein as the “Participation Date”.

  • Annual Evaluation The Partnership will be evaluated on an annual basis through the use of the Strategic Partnership Annual Evaluation Format as specified in Appendix C of OSHA Instruction CSP 00-00-000, OSHA Strategic Partnership Program for Worker Safety and Health. Xxxxxxxxx & Xxxxxx will be responsible for gathering required participant data to evaluate and track the overall results and success of the Partnership. This data will be shared with OSHA. OSHA will be responsible for writing and submitting the annual evaluation.

  • BUILDING INDUSTRY PICNIC DAY The parties agree that Building Industry Picnic Day will continue to apply during the life of this Agreement in accordance with the following:

  • ETU Picnic Day In accordance with picnic day provision the Company shall require from an employee proof of picnic day attendance, ie ETU ticket purchase before payment will be made for the day. A ticket purchased in relation to an alternative union picnic day is not sufficient for the purposes of payment. Where possible no work shall be scheduled on the first Monday of December each year which is the Annual Building Industry Picnic Day.
