Policy Application. This policy shall not be construed to diminish the district’s authority to take disciplinary action in accordance with the law, including such actions as are authorized by Education Code Sections 44010 and 44011. The procedures provided for herein shall be the sole and exclusive administrative due process available to challenge disciplinary actions and short- term suspensions.
Policy Application. This policy applies to regular full-time support staff. Approvals for study leaves are required from the employee's immediate supervisor, the Xxxx, Director or appropriate Department Head, and the appropriate Vice-President. Study leave costs should generally be included in departments' annual budget requests since the costs of leaves are to be borne by the employees' departments. Policy Application. 2.1. This policy applies to all priests and deacons incardinated in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois, other priests and deacons who have the faculties of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois, seminarians of the diocese, members of institutes of consecrated life and societies of apostolic life (religious) and lay persons who are employed full-time or part-time in the parishes, schools, agencies and other institutions of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois and all volunteers associated with the diocese.

It also contains questions on a detailed description of the background of the Proposed INSURED's family ascendants, of his/her own past and present state of health, a formal statement of his/her state of health at the time of contracting and other data of his/her current profession, activity or trade that may influence the estimate of the service. All questions must be fully and accurately answered by the Proposed INSURED and such statement shall constitute the legal basis for the issuance of the requested Life Contract.

1. Manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess, or use a controlled substance.
2. Report to work or be at work or on duty while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
3. While undertaking official business, purchase, transfer, use, or possess drugs as defined in Paragraph II(C)(1) hereof, or abuse alcohol or prescription drugs in any manner that is contrary to the laws of the State of Maryland.
4. Consume alcohol while on-duty or in a uniform, which displays the insignia of the Department, or while operating a County owned vehicle.
5. Abuse alcohol while operating a County owned or utilized vehicle.
B. No Designated Employee may abuse a substance as defined in this Substance Abuse Policy.

D. Designated Employees must report any criminal drug conviction to their immediate supervisor within five days of that conviction.
