Posting of Shift. The Employer agrees that, where possible, a schedule reflecting the changed hours of work for any employee shall: (i) Be posted at least one week (five (5) working days) prior to the commencement of the shift. (ii) Be five (5) consecutive days scheduled within a seven (7) calendar day period. Flexible Working Hours/Week Reduced Work Week and Job Sharing position equally, on a renewable twelve (12) month basis. All job share arrangements shall be subject to the approval of the Employer and must be confirmed in writing to the employee prior to the commencement of such an arrangement. All job share arrangements shall last for twelve (12) months and employees wishing to renew such arrangements must make application in writing to the Employer on or before the end of the eleventh (11th) month of the job share arrangement. The parties make no commitment that job share arrangements will be renewed. Employees must be at the same salary group as the job they are to share and must have the qualifications and ability to perform the duties of the job they are to share. The job left open as a result of the job sharing arrangement shall be advertised and filled in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement. Job sharing employees and all other transferred, promoted or acting shall return to their former positions upon expiration of the agreement. The parties make no commitment to accumulate service related benefits without adjustments. Where a party to a job share arrangement wishes to terminate the arrangement prior to the expiration date, the employee shall provide his/her job share partner, the City with as much advance notice as possible but not less than thirty (30) days' notice. The City may terminate any job share during the term on the basis of operation/service concerns with thirty (30) days' notice to the employees affected.

  • Posting of Schedules The Employer shall post the weekly work schedule for all employees not later than Monday 6:00 p.m. and twenty-two (22) days in advance. An employee's schedule may be changed without notice in the event of absence of other staff due to sickness or accident or in the event of emergencies. In all other cases, at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice of any change must be given or four (4) additional hours' pay given in lieu of notice. All requests for time off for special personal events to be made to Management for their approval prior to the posting of the schedule, and will be granted wherever possible. It is understood that this clause does not apply to casual employees. There shall be a daily starting time for each employee. Daily hours of work for full time employees shall be consecutive, with the exception of meal periods.

  • Reporting of Sick Leave The employee will call in sick or returning in accordance with Article 14.05 to the designated employer for purposes of payment. For purposes of notification of absence, the employee will notify the appropriate home in accordance with Article 14.05 of their absence that shift.

  • Posting of Seniority List The Administration shall post the seniority list twice annually by October 1 and March 1 of each work year. The seniority list shall be posted on the designated bulletin board in each building/work site and will indicate, by area of certification, license, or entry-level requirement, the first day worked, the date of Board resolution to hire, and the contract status (limited or continuing) of each employee. Said list shall be provided by the Superintendent to the Association President on or before the date of posting. A.   • Posting of Notices All postings will be signed and dated by an appropriate Association officer, and identified as Association literature. The Association may post materials on the bulletin boards which are appropriate to the workplace, not sexually or racially derogatory, politically non-partisan, and in compliance with state ethics laws.   • Posting of Vacancies Before any vacancy is posted, any displaced teacher with proper certification shall fill said vacancy. Vacancies shall be posted in accordance with the following: A. Vacancies occurring between the end of the school year and August 5 shall be posted in accordance with the following provisions: 1. Existing position(s) that become vacant after the August Board Meeting shall be awarded to the most senior bargaining unit member who is on the recall list, provided he/she possesses the proper certification/licensure, if comparable evaluations. Evaluation ratings shall be the determining factor governing the selection of the recalled employee. They shall remain in the position for the school year, or whatever portion of the year is remaining. 1. Any bargaining unit member on the recall list who possesses the proper certification/licensure for the vacancy and who is offered a position after the start of the school year and declines the position will not lose his/her recall rights. 2. The Board may, absent a properly certified/licensed individual on the recall list, or if there is a properly certified/licensed individual on the recall list who declines the position after the start of the school year, hire a new employee or a substitute to fill the vacancy for the school year, or whatever portion of the year remains. C. Vacancies that are filled under the provisions of Section 6.032 B of the Agreement shall be posted for the ensuing school year no later than April 15 of each school year unless extenuating circumstances arise in which the posting will be made as soon as practicable. The posting(s) shall adhere to the provisions set forth in Section 6.032 A. 2. through A. 5. of the Agreement. D. For all newly created positions while schools are in session the following shall apply: 1.   • Meeting of Stockholders (a) If required to effect the Merger, the Company shall, consistent with applicable Law and its Certificate of Incorporation and By-laws, call and hold a special meeting of Stockholders, as promptly as practicable following acceptance of the shares of Company Common Stock pursuant to the Offer, for the purpose of voting upon the adoption or approval of this Agreement (the "Special Meeting"), and shall use all reasonable efforts to hold its Special Meeting as soon as practicable thereafter. At the Special Meeting all of the shares of Company Common Stock then owned by Parent, Merger Sub or any other subsidiary of Parent shall be voted to approve the Merger and this Agreement. The Company shall, subject to the applicable fiduciary duties of its directors, as determined by such directors in good faith after consultation with its outside legal counsel (who may be its regularly engaged outside legal counsel), (1) use all reasonable efforts to solicit from Stockholders proxies in favor of the adoption or approval, as the case may be, of the Merger, (2) take all other action necessary or advisable to secure the vote or consent of Stockholders, as required by the DGCL to obtain such adoption or approvals, and (3) include in the Proxy Statement the recommendation of its Board of Directors in favor of the Merger. (b) Parent and Merger Sub shall not, and they shall cause their Subsidiaries not to, sell, transfer, assign, encumber or otherwise dispose of the shares of Company Common Stock acquired pursuant to the Offer or otherwise prior to the Special Meeting; provided, however, that this Section 7.3(b) shall not apply to the sale, transfer, assignment, encumbrance or other disposition of any or all of such shares in transactions involving solely Parent, Merger Sub and/or one or more of their wholly-owned Subsidiaries. (c) Parent shall vote (or consent with respect to) any shares of common stock of Merger Sub beneficially owned by it, or with respect to which it has the power (by agreement, proxy, or otherwise) to cause to be voted (or to provide a consent), in favor of the adoption of this Agreement and the Merger at any meeting of the stockholders of Merger Sub at which this Agreement and the Merger shall be submitted for adoption and at all adjournments or postponements thereof (or, if applicable, by any action of the stockholders of Merger Sub by consent in lieu of a meeting).
