Job Share Arrangements. (a) Job sharing is an arrangement where two Employees share one full- time position.
(b) TIO will promote job sharing where the needs of customers, employees and TIO can be met efficiently. All vacant positions that can be job shared will be identified accordingly when they are advertised.
(c) TIO will promote a job share register whereby: • Employees can register their interest, preferences and details for job share; and • Employees can search for suitable job share partners.
(d) A job share arrangement will be arranged in accordance with the following provision:
(i) Job sharing employees will hold separate contracts of employment. The employees will be deemed part-time employees.
(ii) Job sharing employees have the same rights, opportunities, access to training and career paths as other permanent part time employees. Where practicable, both job share employees will be given the opportunity to attend critical meetings, workshops and training.
(iii) Before a job share arrangement starts, the Employees and TIO will sign an agreement stating:
A. the hours of work for each job share Employee;
B. how the tasks and responsibilities will be shared;
C. how knowledge and information will be shared so both Employees can perform the role effectively;
D. the expected life of the job share arrangement;
E. how periods of leave are to be covered;
F. that if one of the job share Employees resigns or takes another position, the arrangement will be cancelled unless a replacement job share Employee can be found;
G. no redundancy will arise when one job share Employee leaves a job share arrangement; and
H. that when one job share Employee leaves the job share arrangement, the remaining job share Employee can: • continue the job share arrangement with a new job share Employee; • assume the job share position as a full- time position; or
Job Share Arrangements. (a) Job Share is a voluntary arrangement in which one job is shared amongst part- time employees.
(b) Employees may job share under this Agreement where the Chief Executive Officer or nominee approves it.
(c) Job Share arrangements are required to be formalised in the same way that part time work arrangements are outlined in an agreement – This agreement shall be called a job share agreement.
(d) Xxx Xxxxxxx perform the role of one job and the workload and performance expectations should be similar to what would be expected if one employee were performing the job
Job Share Arrangements. Job Sharing is defined as an arrangement whereby two (2) full-time employees share the hours of work of one (1) full-time position. The full-time position involved in the job sharing arrangement will be maintained as a full-time position in the Hospital’s staffing complement. The number of job sharing positions permissible in any department shall be determined by the Hospital.
Job Share Arrangements. SOH may make job share arrangements available to full-time or part-time employees conditional on operational requirements being met and ability to recruit suitable candidates to fulfil the remaining hours of the position
Job Share Arrangements. 1. Job shares may be considered through a process established by the Board of Education. Applications should follow the Board Policy 3120.10 and submitted by April 1st for the upcoming year. The applying members shall be notified of the District's decision by May 1st.
2. Job sharing assignments shall be filled by teachers who have jointly agreed to work. Application for a job share is voluntary.
3. Teachers in a shared assignment have the opportunity to sub for each other and shall be paid at the daily substitute teacher rate of pay. The absent teacher shall notify the building principal.
4. All salary, leave time, fringe benefits and other compensation shall be accrued on a pro-rated basis based on the teacher's full time equivalency (FTE).
5. Attendance at staff meetings, staff development and other days of required attendance for full-time staff will be required of shared-time teachers and will be required with no additional compensation. The principal may at his/her discretion allow exceptions to the staff meeting requirement, however, any exception shall not establish a practice or precedent.
6. Attendance at parent/teacher conferences will be required by both shared-time teachers with no additional compensation.
7. If one or both of the employees desire to return to a full-time status, they shall have the right to return to full-time status for the next school year provided there is a vacancy for which they are highly qualified. Application for continuation of the job share shall be made by April 1.
8. In a job sharing situation, the job-sharing teachers’ combined salary shall not exceed the salary of one full-time teacher. It is further understood that such job shares must meet all requirements set forth in board policy and administrative rules regarding such arrangement. Furthermore, the acceptance or denial of a job-share arrangement is at the sole discretion of the employer and shall be non-grievable.
Job Share Arrangements. 13.1 Job sharing is a form of part time employment where more than one employee shares all the duties and responsibilities of one job.
13.2 Job sharers shall receive pro rata pay and conditions in proportion to the rostered hours worked by each job sharer.
13.3 Job sharing shall be entered into by agreement between State Transit and the employees concerned. State Transit and the job sharers shall agree on the allocation of duties between the job sharers.
13.4 In the event of a job sharer vacating the job, State Transit will review the job and shall consider filling the vacant portion of the job under a job sharing arrangement or returning the job to a full time position.
13.5 If a job is returned to a full time position the remaining job sharer will be offered the full time position.
13.6 An employee who enters into a job sharing arrangement will not have by choice an automatic right of return to a full time position. Access to a full time position will depend on available vacancies and the employee applying for the vacant position within the normal selection process.
13.7 A change to job sharing from full time or part time employment or from job sharing to full time or part time employment shall not constitute a break in the continuity of service. All accrued entitlements shall be calculated in proportion to the hours worked in each employment arrangement.
Job Share Arrangements. (a) An Employee may apply in writing to be considered for a job sharing arrangement to the Human Resources Department. Requests will be considered in consultation with the Regional Manager, and based on operational requirements. One Employee will be the “host” and one Employee will be the “guest” – both Employees will share the “host” position and the “guest” position will be back filled with a term Employee.
(b) An approved job share “host” position will be posted on the company website for fourteen (14) calendar days. An employee desiring the “guest” position must make application in writing to management within fourteen (14) days of the first day of posting via the on-line application system.
(c) The following conditions will apply to all job sharing arrangements:
(i) 12-month minimum commitment, can apply for an extension up to an additional 12 months, approved at the employer’s discretion.
(ii) If one Employee decides to leave the arrangement or is no longer an Employee, the other Employee in the job share will return to their original position.
(iii) Employees in a job sharing arrangement must be of equal classification.
(iv) All benefits are pro-rated (example: vacation, holiday pay).
(v) Both Employees in the job share arrangement will cost share 50% of health & dental benefits (as well as be responsible for 100% of premiums for group life and AD & D benefits, which includes STD/ LTD premiums).
(vi) All mandatory training will be paid at the regular rate for both Employees in a job share arrangement.

Job Share Arrangements. 19.1 An employee may seek a job share arrangement by making an application in writing to the employee’s supervisor.
19.2 When considering the application for a job share arrangement, the supervisor, in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager, will examine the following:
(a) nature and requirements of the work;
(b) delegation of work to employees;
(c) effect on co-workers and customer service;
(d) method of monitoring and assessing the arrangement.
19.3 The supervisor in conjunction with the Human Resources Manager, will consult with the supervisor’s manager and approve the application if all parties are satisfied that State Water’s operational needs can be met after the implementation of the job share arrangement.
19.4 If the application is approved, the task assignment, hours of work, duration, details of the arrangement and other terms and conditions must be placed on the employee’s personnel file.
19.5 The terms and conditions applying to part time employees under this Agreement also apply to a job share arrangement.
Job Share Arrangements. 3.15.1. Job share is an arrangement in which two or more people share one full time job, sharing the work, hours, salary and entitlements allocated to one job.
3.15.2. Job share arrangements may occur for a number of reasons. Some positions may be a permanent job share position while others may be job share for a specified period of time due to an employee request.
