Principal Designee. A teacher who is assigned the ancillary duty of principal designee for a full day is paid twenty- five dollars ($25.00). A teacher who is assigned the ancillary duty of principal designee for at least one-half (½) day but less than a full day is paid twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50).
Principal Designee. In order to support teachers in the absence of the principal, the District will assign a principal designee who has authority to manage student discipline issues should the building administrator be absent from the District. A teacher who does not wish to assume the responsibility of principal designee may refuse to accept the voluntary assignment with no adverse consequence. Please see Appendix B, page 52.
Principal Designee. The principal designee shall have no classroom duties when serving as principal for a full day. The principal designee shall be paid an additional twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each full day served as principal designee. The principal designee will be paid twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) if at least one-half day is served.
Principal Designee. Members who serve as a substitute principal (Principal Designee) shall receive two additional hours at the per diem rate of pay for these duties.
Principal Designee. In the event an administrator substitute is not available for a building administrator who is absent for an extended period, out of the district, and/or unavailable to return to the building in a timely manner, there shall be a designated certificated employee, known as the Principal Designee. The Principal Designee will fill in for the building administrator during the occasions described above. Acceptance of this assignment by the certificated employee shall be voluntary. The Principal Designee shall receive an annual stipend of $500 and compensation at the per diem rate when the assignment results in lost planning time, loss of lunch time, and/or time beyond the regular contract day. A substitute will be provided by the building administrator for the Principal Designee when needed. Each school will have a clearly defined written plan of responsibilities and coverage for the Principal Designee. At the beginning of each school year the Principal Designee shall receive adequate training and instructions regarding procedures from the building administrator. Plans for Principal Designee’s training, coverage, and responsibilities will be submitted every September to the Superintendent and Association President for their review.

The principal designee will be paid twelve dollars and fifty cents ($12.50) performing the ancillary duty of principal designee if the designee serves in this capacity for at least one-half day is served.
Principal Designee. 7.6.1.1The district will pay a yearly stipend of $500 for one Principal Designee position at each site. On days the Principal Designee is required to actively serve in the absence of the principal, the District will fund an additional $75 per day with a maximum not to exceed 15 days. Additional funding beyond the maximum may be provided by the school site.
Principal Designee. Employees will not be required but may agree to act in the principal's or assistant principal's absence. If an employee agrees, (and both the principal and assistant principal are absent) the employee shall be paid $125 per day and $100 for a half day. An employee shall not be asked to cover for a principal or assistant principal for less than half a day. Any coverage of a half day or more will require the District to attempt to hire a substitute for the designee's duties.
Principal Designee. Short-Term Principal Absence A principal designee shall be named in each school where there is no assistant principal when the regularly assigned principal is absent. The principal designee shall be released from his/her classes and a substitute provided when necessary.
