Probationary Rate. The probationary (90) day rate will be (ninety percent) of the applicable rate.
Probationary Rate. (Effective Six Months) During the first six months of employment a new employee will receive the probationary rate of pay after which the employee will progress to the "Regular'' rate of pay.
Probationary Rate. Probationary employees during the entire probationary period shall receive nine dollars ($9.00) per hour for jobs performed within the plant.
Probationary Rate. A newly hired employee shall receive the probationary 7 rate of pay outlined in Appendix A. Once an employee completes his/her initial 8 probationary period he/she shall then receive the full rate of pay for his/her respective 9 position as outlined in Appendix A.
Probationary Rate. The parties agree to a probationary starting rate for newly hired employees. New employees will receive the greater of the prescribed Employment Standards Act, 2000 minimum wage rate or eighty percent (80%) of the rates set out in this Agreement which are in effect at the time of hiring and after the date of ratification, for a period of fifty (50) days actually worked following the employee’s date of hire as set out in Article 15.1 of this Agreement.
Probationary Rate. During the first sixty (60) working days, an employee will receive one dollar ($1.00) per hour less than the job classification he was hired for. Probationary Rate. For the probation period of sixty (60) days worked, a new employee shall receive the scale for the position for which he/she is being considered. The Company shall have the right when hiring to bring in a candidate for up to one week for reporting and desk positions.
Probationary Rate. IN THE EVENT THE Union cannot supply a qualified person when requested by the Company, then the Company shall be free to hire from another source and 18.01 will come into effect.
Probationary Rate. It is mutually agreed that under Schedule A, Section a), newly hired is to be interpreted to mean a new employee. Therefore, an employee who changes jobs (i.e., a bus driver becomes a custodian) will not be subject to the fifty cents ($.50) less than the base rate of pay.
Probationary Rate. It is understood that a newly-hired employee shall be paid fifty cents ($0.50) less than the start rate during the probationary period (i.e. on date of signing $9.00; one (1) year from signing $9.50 and two (2) years from signing $10.00).
