Procedures and Responsibilities. The Parties agree to the following procedures and responsibilities, pursuant to the authorities cited above.

Obtain and complete an Absence Request form and submit it for approval to the Supervisor. 3. The Supervisor will ensure that a properly coded time sheet is submitted biweekly to the payroll department during the duration of the approved Leave. 3. The Supervisor may approve up to twenty-four (24) hours of Leave to an Employee for emergency Leave, without loss of any accrued time.

Procedures and Responsibilities. Fire Fighters who work a shift schedule on the day of a holiday will have the option to use their holiday for time off at any time during the calendar year (City and departmental management reserve the right to approve/deny time off requests based on workload or scheduling requirements) or elect to buy back up to twelve (12) hours per day during the same pay period as the holiday. No more than 48 hours may be bought back in a calendar year.
