PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS. Faculty members may at any time submit evidence of professional achievement or special services to the College or the community for administrative review and potential inclusion in their personnel files.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS. The categories in this area are NOT used as 1 of the 3 professional career areas to increase the basic compensation. A. Action Research connected to student achievement data is required of ALL teachers and MUST be completed for an increase to the basic compensation. Each teacher MUST be an active member of their One time payment by 6-30 each year $ 250 1. Using action research*, teachers will develop an “Individual Improvement Plan” (Plan) that is related to student performance/progress or an improvement plan in conjunction with a group. There may be group research (building initiative i.e. 9th grade transition), longitudinal action research with annual plan and report same as annual action research, or peer coaching members working together. The Plan must be aligned with one or more adopted School District Goals. The Plan will be shared with a learning community. The learning community will provide guidance. A copy of the Plan will be given to the building principal prior to October 29**. The principal and the teacher will meet to discuss the Plan prior to November 12**. The Plan will be approved by the Oversight Committee prior to December 1. Action Research is required of all teachers. 2. Teachers will work to implement their Plan with support from their learning community. 3. Teachers will monitor the progress of their Plan and report the findings to their learning community. A copy of the reported findings, not to exceed 3 pages, will be given to the building principal by May 1**, unless the teacher and the supervising principal agree to a later date. The supervising principal and the teacher will meet to discuss the Plan prior to May 15**, unless the teacher and the supervising principal agree to a later date. 4. If the supervising principal determines that a teacher did not satisfactorily implement the Plan, the supervising principal must appeal to the “Oversight Committee” by June 15**. The “Oversight Committee” must make a decision by June 30**. 5. Satisfactory implementation of the Plan is a prerequisite to receiving the pay for performance increase in the following school year. *Action research is a process by which teachers learn to increase their understanding of their teaching practice, improve their practice based on that improved understanding, and then, hopefully, have students’ learning improve as a result. **The dates may be altered by the “Oversight Committee”.

  • Particular Methods of Procurement of Consultants’ Services 1. Quality- and Cost-based Selection. Except as otherwise provided in paragraph 2 below, consultants’ services shall be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Quality and Cost-based Selection.

  • Performance Monitoring ‌ A. Performance Monitoring of Subrecipient by County, State of California and/or HUD shall consist of requested and/or required written reporting, as well as onsite monitoring by County, State of California or HUD representatives. B. County shall periodically evaluate Subrecipient’s progress in complying with the terms of this Contract. Subrecipient shall cooperate fully during such monitoring. County shall report the findings of each monitoring to Subrecipient. C. County shall monitor the performance of Subrecipient against the goals, outcomes, milestones and performance standards required herein. Substandard performance, as determined by County, will constitute non-compliance with this Contract for which County may immediately terminate the Contract. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by Subrecipient within the time period specified by County, payment(s) will be denied in accordance with the provisions contained in this Paragraph 47 of this Contract. D. HUD in accordance with 24 CFR Part 570 Subpart O, 570.902, will annually review the performance of County to determine whether County has carried out its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) assisted activities in a timely manner and has significantly disbursed CDBG funds and met the mandated “1.5 ratio” threshold. Subrecipient is responsible to ensure timely drawdown of funds.

  • Performance Factors (a) Each party will notify the other party of the existence of a Performance Factor, as soon as reasonably possible after the party becomes aware of the Performance Factor. The Notice will: describe the Performance Factor and its actual or anticipated impact; include a description of any action the party is undertaking, or plans to undertake, to remedy or mitigate the Performance Factor; indicate whether the party is requesting a meeting to discuss the Performance Factor; and address any other issue or matter the party wishes to raise with the other party. (b) The recipient party will provide a written acknowledgment of receipt of the Notice within 7 Days of the date on which the Notice was received (“Date of the Notice”). (c) Where a meeting has been requested under paragraph 7.2(a)(3), the parties agree to meet and discuss the Performance Factors within 14 Days of the Date of the Notice, in accordance with the provisions of section 7.3.
