Professional Growth Hours. Each regularly contracted full-time certificated employee 27 shall be entitled to thirty-five (35) professional growth hours (increased to forty-two (42) 28 hours in the 2020-21 school year) as follows:

Professional Growth Hours. Employees may earn up to 32 hours of extra pay at per diem to support them in improving their professional practices that xxxxxx student growth and learning. These professional growth hours support an array of activities, described below, that occur outside the work day/year or during planning time. Educators are encouraged to reflect on their practice and to take/select the activities that best answer the question “What do I need to do this year to improve my professional practice to xxxxxx student growth?” Educators are encouraged to share and discuss their professional growth activities with their evaluator to xxxxxx mutual professional relationships and provide reflective feedback to the District and Association on effective practices for future planning and support.
