Professional Standards Committee. (Reviews applications as presented from the Sabbatical Leave Committee). Forwards approved applications to the Superintendent/President for consideration and recommendation. Creates a list of alternates for consideration in the event an approved applicant is unable to use sabbatical leave.
Professional Standards Committee. No member of this committee shall apply for a Sabbatical Leave during the time he/she is on the committee.
Professional Standards Committee. 1. The Professional Standards Committee consists of six (6) tenured faculty members to be elected by the full-time faculty in an election conducted by the Association at their April meeting. No two members shall come from the same academic department or career program area.
2. No member of this committee shall apply for an academic promotion, merit raise or special salary adjustment during the time he/she is on the committee.
Professional Standards Committee. The Faculty Association’s Professional Standards Committee (see Collective Agreement Article 11 – Performance Appraisal) will be responsible for the development of the criteria for:
Professional Standards Committee. The Association will establish a Professional Standards Committee (PSC) consisting of 2 vocational teachers, 2 academic teachers, 1 guidance counselor, 1 special needs teacher, and 1 other professional staff member. As an alternative to standard administrative action, the Superintendent-Director may request the Association Executive Board to consider convening the PSC to review the case of any professional staff member charged with improper conduct or unacceptable performance and at the PSC’s discretion: 1. recommend actions to the Superintendent, and/or
Professional Standards Committee. (a) There shall be a Professional Standards Committee comprising not less than three Engineer Officers and three Deck Officers from various geographic areas appointed by the Union and such representatives as are appointed by the Employer.
(b) The Committee shall meet, under clause 2.11 of the Collective Agreement, not less than three times annually, and shall consider and make recommendations on all aspects of professional standards.
Professional Standards Committee. The Agreement establishes a "Professional Standards Committee" consisting of each Building Principal as well as one teacher from each building. It will be the responsibility of this committee to receive and approve semester credit for individual application on Schedule A beyond that required by law. In order to receive support, applicants must prove, to the satisfaction of the committee, that all credits earned have a direct bearing on their current assignment and/or will directly enhance/expand the programs and services of the District.
Professional Standards Committee. 28.1. COMMITTEE SELECTION The Union will appoint a Professional Standards Committee composed of Crewmembers. The Union will provide the Director of Operations, or his designee, with a current list of Professional Standards Committee members.

The membership of the Professional Standards Committee shall be as follows: The chairman who shall be a Board member nominated by the and approved by the Board, but who shall not be the academic staff representative, the nonacademic staff representative, the student representative or the President. Three academic staff members normally chosen from the ranks of the continuing Academic Staff, appointed by Community College Faculty Association. An academic staff member may not sit on the Professional Standards Committee if he is under consideration. He shall be replaced by an appointee of the executive of the Community College Faculty Association. The President, the administrator responsible for the academic staff member, and a senior academic administrator appointed by the President. The President may appoint a designate to sit in his place. This membership will apply to all activity of the Professional Standards Committee with the exception of dealing with applications for "Faculty Development and Educational Assistance" (Section where the administrator responsible for the academic staff member concerned will not sit on the committee and an alternate academic administrator appointed by the President will take his place. The administrator member will change with each problem according to the individual involved.
