Committee Selection. The five (5) teacher members and four (4) administrator members of the LPDC will be appointed by the school board. Teacher representatives will be filled by recommendation of the TEA president. Administrative representatives will be filled by recommendation of the superintendent.
Committee Selection. Association membership on corporation and school-based committees will be in accordance with Indiana Code. This is provided for informational purposes only.
Committee Selection. Local 70 shall be allowed to select those members who desire to participate in the Districts various ongoing committees.
Committee Selection. The unit member to be evaluated shall select a peer review committee consisting of a minimum of two (2) full-time regular unit members, one
(1) of which must be in the same Faculty Service Area. The committee will be mutually agreed upon by the District and the unit member. If mutual agreement does not occur, the unit member shall select another committee consisting of a minimum of two (2) full-time regular unit members, one (1) of which must be in the same Faculty Service Area. In the event that this committee is not mutually agreed upon, the committee shall be formed by the unit member selecting one (1) committee member and the District selecting one (1) committee member. The unit member shall forward the names of the committee members to Human Resources by the end of the fourth week of the semester.
Committee Selection. A. The teacher members shall be appointed by the XXXX president. The certificated/licensed administrators shall be appointed by the Superintendent.
B. In the event of an in-term vacancy, the committee member shall be replaced in accordance with a. above,
C. For the purpose of discussing or voting upon an administrator's Individual Professional Development plan, an additional certificated/licensed administrator will be added to the committee and the number of teachers reduced by one.
Committee Selection. BCA will assist and advise the City of Arlington and the Arlington Public Library Foundation in further developing its committee selection and securing campaign co-chairs and an honorary chair as necessary.
Committee Selection. Bargaining unit members shall be allowed to select those members who desire to participate in the Districts various committees.
Committee Selection. The Committee shall be called the Tenure Review Committee and will be made up of the Division Administrator from the division of the candidate and three tenured faculty members. The Division Administrator will initiate formation of the committee. In the event the administrator in the division is not available the Vice President of Instruction or Student Services, as appropriate, will designate the educational administrator to serve in the Division Administrator's place. The Committee shall include three tenured faculty members.
1. Two faculty from the discipline.
(a) One faculty member will be appointed from and by the candidate's search committee.
(b) Another faculty member will be a tenured volunteer from within the discipline. When the committee is being formed, the Division Administrator will send a list of contract faculty needing evaluation to the members of the discipline and ask for volunteers. If there is more than one volunteer per evaluatee, the Division Administrator will notify the volunteers and the decision of who will be the representative to the committee will be made by the faculty volunteers. In the event of a tie, lots shall be drawn. In the event there are no tenured faculty volunteering from the discipline, the faculty member selected from the search committee, the Division Administrator, the Academic Senate President, and a Federation Vice President representing the appropriate college will consult to resolve the issue.
2. One faculty member from a discipline outside of the evaluatee’s discipline shall be appointed by the Academic Senate, using the following procedure. Once the two discipline faculty members have been named, the Division Administrator will notify the Academic Senate of the two faculty serving on the committee and request the Senate to name a third tenured Faculty Member. After the Senate as a whole votes to approve the appointment, the name will be sent to the Division Administrator, who will call a meeting of the new committee at which time the members will elect a chair annually. Wherever possible, the Committee membership will reflect diversity with respect to ethnicity and gender. Should vacancies occur, the vacant seat must be replaced, and the replacement will follow the initial procedures for the selection of the vacant seat.
Committee Selection. The committee shall consist of five (5) persons selected as follows:
a. The Faculty Association President shall submit to the College President the names of six (6) faculty members as candidates to serve on the

Within five (5) working days after the closing date of the posting a committee composed of two representatives from the Bargaining Unit (selected by appropriate shop xxxxxxx) and two from Employer will meet to review the bids. The Senior Vice President will not sit on the Bid Committee. Qualifications of bidders who are regular employees covered by this Agreement will be evaluated by the Bid Committee. All qualified bids will then be considered by the Committee to determine who is most qualified to perform the work in accordance with job posting requirements on the basis of:
a) official transcripts or documented education
b) job related training and knowledge
c) quality of past performance
d) attendance and punctuality Where bidders are equal in qualifications, seniority shall prevail. The Bid Committee will use due diligence, including the concept of interest-based bargaining, when examining applicants and must exercise a systematic scoring and evaluation process that is consistent with past practice. Additionally, the Bid Committee may request interviews of applicants, supervisors and other applicable resources.
