Program LeadersEach party shall appoint a person (a "Program Leader") to coordinate its part of the Program. The Program Leaders shall be the primary contacts between the parties with respect to the Program. Each party shall notify the other within thirty (30) days after the date of this Agreement of the appointment of its Program Leader and shall notify the other party as soon as practicable upon changing this appointment.

Program Leaders a) Program Leaders shall be appointed on an annual basis in all schools as follows: (i) In each high school at a rate of one (1) Program Leader per every six (6) full time equivalent teachers on staff in the school as at September 30,each year, and (ii) In each school other than high schools at a rate of one (1) Program Leader per every eight (8) full time equivalent teachers as at September 30, each year.
Program LeadersEach party will identify an individual with lead responsibility for the Program. Each party will provide reasonable written notice to the other party before making changes in key personnel. Key personnel for both parties are identified on the "Key Contact List" which is incorporated herein by reference.

Languages/Communications: English, French, Native Language 4. Mathematics: 5. The Arts: Art, Music, Drama. 6. Technological Studies: 7. Science: Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geology. 8. Health and Physical Education: 9. Business Studies, Computer Studies/Library and Information Services 15.06 The model for curriculum subject-based Program Leaders for each school will be determined by the Principal of the school after consultation with the In-School Staffing Committee, subject to the approval of the Director. 15.07 In addition to their other leadership responsibilities, each Program Leader shall be responsible for assessment, evaluation practices and instructional strategies within their specific curricular areas. However, in each school one Program Leader shall be designated the school representative for these areas. 15.08 Where a program leader is temporarily absent for a period exceeding twenty (20) consecutive school days, the Board shall appoint a temporary replacement for the duration of the absence or for the balance of the Program Leader's term whichever ends first. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Division may decide, annually, the areas in which Program Leaders shall be assigned. d) Program Leaders shall be appointed by the Superintendent on the recommendation of the Principal. e) A pool of substitute days will be allocated to each high school each year equal to eight (8) half days multiplied by the number of Program Leaders in each high school as at September 30 of that year. The substitute days will be used to provide release time to Program Leaders in the high school.
