Prohibited Use of Funds. 1. No part of the Funds in this Custodial Account may be invested in life insurance contracts or in collectibles as defined in Section 408(m) of the Internal Revenue Code.
2. The assets of this Custodial Account may not be commingled with other property except in a common trust fund or common investment fund.
3. Neither the Account Owner nor the Custodian will engage in any prohibited transaction with respect to this account (such as borrowing or pledging the account or engaging in any other prohibited transaction as defined in Internal Revenue Code Section 4975).
Prohibited Use of Funds. The funding established pursuant to this Grant Agreement shall be utilized solely to support graduate medical education in Grantee's Program as reflected in the Allowable Costs document. Grant Funds shall not be used to replace and/or supplant existing federal, state, or local funds or Other Sources of Funds intended to also fund the residency positions in Grantee's Program. California law AB 1887 also imposes restrictions on the use of state funds to travel to states that authorize discrimination or repeal existing laws prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. An up-to-date list of all banned travel states can be found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/ab1887. Grantees must comply with this rule for any/all grant-related travel using state funds.
Prohibited Use of Funds. The Contractor agrees not to use contract proceeds to urge any elector to vote for or against any candidate or proposition on an election ballot nor shall such funds be used to lobby for or against any proposition or matter having the effect of law being considered by the Louisiana Legislature or any local governing authority. This provision shall not prevent the normal dissemination of factual information relative to a proposition on any election ballot or a proposition or matter having the effect of law being considered by the Louisiana Legislature or any local governing authority.
Prohibited Use of Funds. Sponsorship funding provided by BAYER may not be used for purposes other than the Project Scope. Any use by RECIPIENT of funds for any purpose other than those specified herein will terminate the obligation of the BAYER to make further contributions.
Prohibited Use of Funds. 5.1 Funds shall not be used for purposes prohibited by university or system-wide policy.
5.2 Funds may not be used to open or maintain off-campus or other unauthorized bank accounts. Accordingly, checks drawn on a student organization account will not be made payable to the organization or any of its officers, with the following exception: A check may be made payable to an officer if the payment represents a reimbursement for legitimate and documented organization expenses.
Prohibited Use of Funds. Subaward funds may not be used for payments for any item or service to the extent that payment has been made, or reasonably can be expected to be made, with respect to that item or service under any state compensation program, insurance policy, federal or state health benefits program or by an entity that provides health services on a prepaid basis (except for a program administered by or providing the services of the Indian Health Services). In addition, Subaward funds may not be used for the following purposes:
1. Cash payment to intended recipients of services;
2. Clinical research;
3. International travel;
4. Construction (minor alterations and renovations to an existing facility to make it more suitable for the purposes of the award program are allowable with prior HRSA approval);
Prohibited Use of Funds. CONTRACTOR will ensure that these funds are not spent on the following items, which are addressed by WIOA or the funding source and will be subject to federal, state, and local rules: SAMPLE
1) Public service employment, except to provide disaster relief employment, as specifically authorized in WIOA and under a special federal disaster relief assistance grant.
2) Expenses prohibited or unallowable under any other federal, state, or local law or regulation, including foreign travel.
3) General economic development and related employment generating activities.
4) Capitalization of businesses.
5) Investment in contract bidding resource centers.
6) Investment in revolving loan funds.
7) Drug testing except to facilitate the hiring process.
8) The wages of incumbent employees during their participation in training when funded by WIOA.
9) Costs associated with general agency fund-raising activities are not allowable.
10) Program Administration and Indirect costs are not allowable to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
11) Food costs are not allowable to WIOA, City of Portland General Funds or CDBG funds, not even for participants.
12) Depreciation costs are not allowable to A Home for Everyone (AHFE) funds.
13) For AHFE funds, IT costs, fiscal services, audit services, and payroll services are considered Administrative costs and must be included in the Indirect line-item. Indirect costs for AHFE funds are limited to 15 percent of the total CONTRACTOR award.
Prohibited Use of Funds. EVERETT may not use funds for the following ineligible activities:
(a) Ineligible costs under 2 C.F.R Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards;
(b) Any activities prohibited under the Grant between USDOT and PSRC dated.
Prohibited Use of Funds. None of the funds, material, property, or services provided directly or indirectly in this Agreement shall be used in the performance of this Agreement for any partisan political activity or to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office. None of the funds provided under this Agreement shall be used for publicity or propaganda purposes designed to support or defeat legislation pending before the Burien City Council, the Washington State Legislature, the U.S. Congress, or any other legislative body.
