Proposed intervention. The main objective of this intervention is to create employment opportunities in the construction material sector by constituting small production units of alternative construction materials. The secondary objective is to create the conditions in selected TVET centres to deliver training in manufacturing of alternative construction materials. The next steps in the plan of this activity entail training of 25 trainers (already executed in 2019), creation of 15 alternative materials small production units (5 of which will be based in Sofala) through implementation of a training on manufacturing of alternative construction materials and a production phase in which the start- ups will manufacture soil cement bricks and micro concrete roof tiles in sufficient amounts to build demonstration pilots.

Proposed intervention. The society is planning to establish a common processing center, which also serves as incubation for new artisans to acquire requisite skills. The processing center will work on common brand basis and will share the profits with member artisans on pro rata basis.
Proposed intervention. In order to ensure the continuation of vaccination services and provision of primary healthcare to marginalized communities across Area C of the West Bank, UNDP will provide support to mobile health clinics. The proposed intervention includes the following elements: • Establishing two new MoH mobile clinics through the purchase of two fully equipped vehicles covering priority geographical locations, to provide COVID-19 vaccination as well as primary healthcare services. • Supporting three already established NGO-run mobile clinics that provide critical primary healthcare services to vulnerable and marginalized communities and support the MoH roll-out of COVID-19 vaccination in remote communities. The support will include staffing, equipment and running costs. In close partnership with XxX and the other health actors, particularly UNICEF and WHO, additional awareness raising sessions and sensitization work will be designed and rolled-out through the NGO-run mobile clinics. Proposed intervention. Given the exposure, vulnerability and adaptation deficit reported by the country in its Third National Communication to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and in the National Adaptation Plan, four Governorates in the Dead Sea Basin namely Karak, Madaba, Talifah and Maan have been selected for project interventions as these represent the areas that are considered as the most vulnerable. These Governorates host 840,900 inhabitants who are the most vulnerable in the country to climate change due to the high dependency on rainfed agriculture, poverty rate of rural population, and high climate change adaptation deficit. iv. The goal of the seven-year project titled “Building resilience to cope with climate change in Jordan through improving water use efficiency in the agriculture sector (BRCCJ)” is increased climate resilient sustainable development in the country. In line with the objectives of the climate change policy (2013-2020) and the National Adaptation Plan (2020) the project is designed to increase the resilience to climate change of water management systems and of the farming community. The project will have three interrelated components which will work synergistically to address key barriers and enhance the impact of project investments. The components are designed to deal with the lack of infrastructure, limited capacity of rural farming households and weak institutional capacity. They include; (i) Component 1: Climate Resilient Water Systems for enhanced water security; (ii) Component 2: Climate Change resilience for Enhanced Livelihoods and Food Security; and (iii) Component 3: Scaling-up climate adaptation into policy and across actors (institutions, private sector, civil society).   • Intervention If the Commission finds deficiencies in the School's performance or legal compliance, the Commission and the School shall follow the Intervention Protocol attached as Exhibit D. Intervention may be initiated when the Commission finds that the School has failed to: (a) Comply with applicable laws, rules, policies, or procedures; (b) Comply with the terms and conditions of this Contract; or (c) Meet performance expectations as set forth in the Performance Frameworks.   • Regulatory Intervention In the event that there is any change to any applicable statutes, enactments, acts of legislatures or parliament, laws, ordinances, orders, rules, by-laws or regulations of any government or statutory authority in India including but not limited to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and The Telecom Regulatory Authority or any final un-appealable order of any competent court or tribunal, etc, which would have a material adverse effect on either of the Parties, then the affected Party may request that the Parties consult as soon as reasonably practicable with a view to negotiating in good faith an amendment to this Agreement including but not limited to the Subscription Fee payable hereunder. Such amendment shall take effect from the date of such change. In the event the Parties are unable to agree on an amendment within thirty (30) days of the date of the request by the affected Party, then either Party may approach TDSAT for appropriate resolution of the dispute.

  • Preliminary Approval Order “Preliminary Approval Order” means the order of the Court preliminarily approving this Settlement Agreement.

  • Complaint Stage It is the mutual desire of the Parties that the complaints of employees shall be adjusted as quickly as possible. An employee who has a complaint must bring that complaint to the attention of the immediate Manager within five (5) working days of when the employee became or ought reasonably to have become aware of the occurrence that gave rise to the complaint. It is understood that no employee has a grievance until the immediate Manager has been given an opportunity to adjust the complaint and verbally reply, which shall be a maximum of three (3) working days from the presentation of the complaint.

  • CENTRAL GRIEVANCE PROCESS The following process pertains exclusively to grievances on central matters that have been referred to the central process. In accordance with the School Boards Collective Bargaining Act central matters may also be grieved locally, in which case local grievance processes will apply.

  • Adverse Weather Shall be only weather that satisfies all of the following conditions: (1) unusually severe precipitation, sleet, snow, hail, or extreme temperature or air conditions in excess of the norm for the location and time of year it occurred based on the closest weather station data averaged over the past five years, (2) that is unanticipated and would cause unsafe work conditions and/or is unsuitable for scheduled work that should not be performed during inclement weather (i.e., exterior finishes), and (3) at the Project.

  • Sale Order The Sale Order shall, among other things, (a) approve, pursuant to sections 105, 363 and 365 of the Bankruptcy Code, (i) the execution, delivery and performance by Sellers of this Agreement, (ii) the sale of the Acquired Assets to Buyer on the terms set forth herein and free and clear of all Encumbrances (other than Permitted Encumbrances), and (iii) the performance by Sellers of their obligations under this Agreement, (b) authorize and empower Sellers to assume and assign to Buyer the Transferred Contracts, (c) find that Buyer is a “good faith” purchaser within the meaning of section 363(m) of the Bankruptcy Code, find that Buyer is not a successor to any Seller, and grant Buyer the protections of section 363(m) of the Bankruptcy Code, (d) find that Buyer shall have no Liability or responsibility for any Liability or other obligation of any Seller arising under or related to the Acquired Assets other than as expressly set forth in this Agreement, including successor or vicarious Liabilities of any kind or character, including any theory of antitrust, environmental, successor, or transferee Liability, labor law, de facto merger, or substantial continuity, (e) find that Buyer has provided adequate assurance (as that term is used in section 365 of the Bankruptcy Code) of future performance in connection with the assumption of the Transferred Contracts, (f) find that Buyer shall have no Liability for any Excluded Liability, (g) find that the consideration provided by Buyer pursuant to this Agreement constitutes reasonably equivalent value and fair consideration for the Acquired Assets, (h) find that Buyer and Sellers did not engage in any conduct which would allow this Agreement to be set aside pursuant to section 363(n) of the Bankruptcy Code and (i) order that, notwithstanding the provisions of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedures 6004(h) and 6006(d), the Sale Order is not stayed and is effective immediately upon entry. Buyer agrees that it will promptly take such actions as are reasonably requested by any Seller to assist in obtaining Bankruptcy Court approval of the Sale Order, including furnishing affidavits or other documents or information for filing with the Bankruptcy Court for purposes, among others, of (A) demonstrating that Buyer is a “good faith” purchaser under section 363(m) of the Bankruptcy Code and (B) establishing adequate assurance of future performance within the meaning of section 365 of the Bankruptcy Code.
