Re-employment of Employees. The Employer shall recall employees to work in accordance with recall as proscribed by law present as of the time of such recall. A tenured Employee who is honorably dismissed at the end of a school year will have the right to be recalled to employment as a certified employee for a period of two (2) calendar years from the beginning of the school term following the school term in which dismissal occurred. An Employee’s failure to respond affirmatively within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the Employer’s letter sent by certified mail to the Employee’s address on file with the Employer recalling such Employee shall result in termination of the Employee’s rights hereunder.

Re-employment of Employees. Re-employment of Employees who have been affected by a reduction in force shall be pursuant to the provisions of The School Code (Ill.Rev.Stat., ch. 122, para. 24-12) with the following one exception: A tenured Employee who is honorably dismissed at the end of a school year will have the right to be recalled to employment as a certified employee for a period of two (2) calendar years from the beginning of the school term following the school term in which dismissal occurred if circumstances develop which permit recall to employment to the extent provided by The School Code. An Employee’s failure to respond affirmatively within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the Employer’s letter sent by certified mail to the Employee’s address on file with the Employer recalling such Employee shall result in termination of the Employee’s rights hereunder.

  • Engagement of Employees 8.1.1 All prospective Employees may be required to complete an Application for Employment form prior to engagement. Applicants may be required to undertake a pre-employment physical/medical assessment, the cost of which will be borne by the Company. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Modes of Employment The Employer may employ a Full Time, Part Time, Fixed Term or Casual Employee. The Employer may direct an Employee to perform such duties as are within the limits of the Employee’s skill, competence and training.

  • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.
