REDUCTION IN PERSONNEL, XXXXXX AND RECALL. It is expressly recognized that it is within the sole discretion of the Board to reduce its educational program, curriculum and/or staff and that the procedures set forth in this Article shall be used in laying off personnel.
REDUCTION IN PERSONNEL, XXXXXX AND RECALL. 12.1 The District reserves and shall have the right to decide who shall be laid off or reduced, primarily on the basis of ability and performance of duty. Performance will be considered by categories (commendable, proficient, etc.). Within that category, lay off shall be governed by seniority.
